You know, I dicovered? this cheap trick because the CPU Abel sometimes did this to me, then I said: If he can do this, then why not me? And now Abel is the character I'm using to unlock Gouki and Gouken. And I know how to do this trick even agains Vega and Honda. Cammy is somewhat hard because she reversals. What you must do is, instead of dashing or rolling, do a forward jump, and do the command throw pressing punch almost at the same time you land. Rinse and repeat.

I said who stands next to gief on wakeup! How can you misinterpret that? Standing next? to Ryu on his wake up is fine because he cannot grab you from far away. STANDING next to Gief on wake up is bad because you get spd'd. Thats it. No one is going to stand next to gief on his wake up and do nothing....and thats it. Im not an idiot. If you stand in spd? range and you know gief is going to do it, and you have a move that BEATS spd on wakeup, then yes you stupid noob, it's yomi, because you knew what they were going to do, so you gave them the opportunity to do it, then beat it with your own counter attack.

Top 10 Genesis / Megadrive Game Music of All Time

This is my top 10 list for music featured on genesis games. I included some underdog games so this wouldn't seem so cliche.
I want to point out that although genesis had a soundchip that wasnt as advanced as the snes, the music pretty much sounded better on almost every cross-platform game (universal soldier on the snes is a debacle as well as street fighter 2 ce and mortal kombat 1..)

As somsone who owned all three systems growing up (well, for a while, I ended up trading my TG-16 for a complete years series of XMen collectable cards and some pogs. I didn't know how rare it was, relatively) I can truly say that BY A LONG SHOT, the SNES had better music, on average. That doesn't mean that there werent some phenomenal Genesis OSTs tho.

These songs are awesome. You are missing (so far, I am on #3- Mortal Kombat) Contra Hard Corps soundtrack, the epitome of Genesis soundtracks IMO. Also, YS III - Wanderers from YS has a really good rendition of it's soundtrack on the Genesis. Some? other systems like the PC Engine/Turbografx-16 had FM Synthesis as well. In fact, the PC Engine was much more popular than the MegaDrive (Genesis) in Japan, which was in last place. Japaense developers know how to use FM Synth.. see pt .2

mega drive (genesis) didnt have as advanced sound chip as snes instead it had two sound chips and an extra processor? (Z80) that could controll the soundchips. the 68k could also controll the soundchips.

Wow? @ the Streets of Rage 2 track. I have never played the game, but you could blindfold me and convince me that the music is from a mid-90s Sega Model 2 arcade game. It's pumped, well-composed and has excellent clairty. That may be the best 16-bit music I've ever heard.
