hi, thanks for your comment. I had fishes in a bigger tank before and just love? this smaller one. It's approx. a gallon. I agree i need a taller mix of plants. I use only real plant and the first time I try real plants, they do need work as well and i need to learn more about how to keep plants healthy before i get more. He does hide under the shells, which came from a Jamaican diver actually. :) much love.

he looks pretty good. :3 how big is that vase? and, Pinky would LOVE some taller plants. bettas love plants? they can hide and sleep in. i got one female who sleeps, laying on the leaves of one of hers. it's so cute!
