The "free" version only includes the articles and interviews from the Klickdisc it doesn't have any of the demo's or extensions. So you still have to buy the October 09 addition. Ah, but will it be as easy to use as this. I've found 3D extensions to be a pain in the ass to try and work with. They are clunky and confusing, there are no tutorials and any examples? are poorly commented. At least in my experience with stuff like Mode7, 3D actives, 3D Mesh object. There has been an OpenGL since Game Factory 1!! And I couldn't make any seance of that ether. Still, I'll go have a look. Thanks letting me know. ^_^ Don't worry about the bad english.

I don't really understand it myself but this is the code I used to set the X position of the background sprite. Always Set X position to((rAngle( "Player" ) mod 360)*960*2)/360 I also made it so that if the rAngle was larger than 360.1 it was set to 0. rAngle is the veriable the player is facing. Width is the width of the screen. That? being said the number 960 is not the width of the screen and I can't remember how I hot that number.

What I did was make a rain sprite and every half second or so I created it with in an aria around the player. Like this. If number of rain sprites < 150, create rain sprite and Set Xpos of rain to Xpos of player+(randome(1000)-500). Repeat? this for the Ypos and it will create a 500x500 spread of rain around the player. Also, I destroyed the sprite when the animation was done. Well that's how I did it anyway.

I don't? know, but I run it through DOS Box. it's a DOS emulater. It takes a little tweaking to get it working but there are tutorials that can help you. And don't even think about trying to record it unless you have dedicated hard ware.

Cool, but remember, for every good FMV game there's? probably 20 awful ones. Also, the hugely negative reputation of the FMV in general has lead to a lot of the good ones being bagged as well. A good example of this is Wing Commander 3. It is an awesome FMV game. But some people still like to rip on it.

I've never tried to hide the fact that I build this on top of another example. In fact that anthers original opening comments are still there as an acknowledgement. Well it might very well bore you, it's definitely not for every "gamer". I know I didn't think it would be any good ether till I tryed it. But a lot of gamers don't see the point. I'd recommend getting a demo or something. I'd also recommend the Sims 2. It's just like the sims but with better graphics and more? stuff to do. Just type "the sims 2 demo" into google and you should find it. ^_^

Yep, Sims 2( folloed by the others) is the best selling game of all time, then Myst, then Tetris. You have to remember games like Myst are "casual" games. So it was played by people who wouldn't normally play games. Same with the Sims, a lot of people who play the Sims probably aren't interested in other? stuff. I've found a lot of "gamers" don't like stuff like that, I'm not sure why. Maybe I like it becouse I loved lego as a kid and just like building stuff.

It was the best selling game of all time up until the original Sims knocked them off. The original even got a port? to the Nintendo DS!

Oh, you were saying that this guy wrote the story, designed the game and then starred in it and you didn't know of anyone else that did something like that? Well, don't forget the MYST games. The Miller brothers wrote all 5 stories along with co-writing the novels, designed the games (and even began the company who stared them), wrote the music for the original game, and one of them stared as Atrus thoughout? the whole series. Wow...this brings back so many memories...memories of laughter with my daddy in the computer room, eating sausage and cheese and crackers and drinking root beer when I was a little girl. Ha ha ha! Well there are some relatively long cut scenes in the beginning and all the conversations are done through video but I'd say this is much more of a game then Phantasmagoria in terms of interaction. It's kind of like an? early take on a 3D point and click adventure.

Ha! Yea, it's really quite hard to controll. I really wish Chris had taken some pointers from Doom or another old school shooter that was around at the time. The acting is? very cheezy but it's fun.

Well,the mother? always wanted to kill him because of both things: being an alien and being male. The fact that she wanted to kill him in the cutscene is because it´s some kind of induced "dream" from original Curtis to finally take over him. It´s a little bit complicated sa you can see, but I think more or less that´s It! I think It´s touching because that scene Its like: "whatever I am, we love each other and that´s fine" and so the mother regrtes for her hate. Sniff :_

Ahhh, I miss this game so much! This is one of the best adventure games i've ever played, along with many others. This game is a jewel and it should be adapted to the cinema! Its story is awesome and? its psychological side thrills a lot! GREAT plot, GREAT GRAPHICS and GREAT AMBIENCE!!! I bought Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh back in 1996 and I remember I got glued to it. Very scary and mind bending puzzles! ;) FIVE STARS, despite the bad critics it had. Haven't had the plesure unfortunatly. So fare Chicken Park is on the top of my worced movies ever list. I recently saw the original Toxic Avenger film, that was pretty horrible but? definatly better than Chicken Park. TA was one of those "so bad it's good" movies where as CP was just plain painful. I really wont to go find Poltryguyst now, I think it's good to checkout crap to keep your perspective on movies. At least that's my theory. Also, it seems CP was not made by troma.

Way worse than that. There are chicken zombies raised by a Native American curse brought about by? a fast food restaurant built on their sacred burial grounds. It's a Troma film so that alone should tell you it's bad. It made me so nauseous in parts that I almost stopped watching. I can't really describe how awful the scenes are. You'd have to see it for yourself, but I strongly recommend you don't. Bad as early Peter Jackson films like Bad Taste and Braindead if you've seen those :)

Whait... is that like a crappy spoof of the Poltergeist but with chickens?! The worst movie I've ever seen, at least so far, was Chicken Park. It was trying to be a spoof on Jurasic? Park but with giant chickens. It was horrible. It's been my worst movie ever for a number of years now. And I've seen some pretty bad moves. Blood for Dracula is another really bad one. Can your DVD player record shows from TV? Do you have AV? ports (those red, yellow and white connectors) in your DVD player for connecting home consoles or whatever. You just plug in your console, switch to the AV channel and record on that channel. Just like you used to do on the VCR it's actually pretty simple.

Well, the monster is trying to punnish Curtis, it's not just killing random people. The Trevor and the Doc are close to him so there deaths have a much greater impact on Curtis. Also, the? monster wonts to take over Curtises body so it probably wouldn't wont to do anything that would implicate him in the murder of a cop and land him in prison. As others pointed out, there is nothing tieing him to the murders directly, however a dead cop that was investigating him would not look good.

You know what's depressing? I would have hoped the detective would have been the one to bite the dust. I mean, she is SO asking for it! I mean, she even threatened his pet rat, why couldn't SHE get a nasty death, like, I dunno, run down by her own cop car or something? The strange thing is this probably had one of the biggest video game budgets of all time back in the day. You wont to see something that was really made on a shoe string go and? check out Corps Killer or Night Trap. It probably would have been cool if they had stuck to the more traditional point and click adventure style like they did in the first one but I guess we'll never know. ^_^
