No offense taken. Detroit is a shit town, but the burbs are pretty cool. The Detroit area does have some great museums(Henry Ford, Greenfield Village, Cranbrook, Detroit Science Center). There is also a state park about 90 minutes north of Detroit that is supposed to have some awesome pictoglyphes that are several thousand years old. I've never been, but I plan to make a trip up there this? summer. The other up side to Detroit is that rooms are fairly cheap.

Superb Analysis! I have a theory that Shock's actual religious beliefs are unkown. I believe his "Shockofgod" persona is simply a character he developed? to generate interest and drive traffic to his videos and channel. All for the purpose of monetary gain. He could easily be a passive theist whose goal is to spread the word of his Savior and bring others to Christ, but it's easy to see that this is not his goal. His goal is to be a controversial/prick to draw traffic to his videos. Cont'd.

However, if atheism is defined as a lack of beilef in god(s), then propositions concerning the truth (etc.) of atheism make no sense whatsoever, since while it can be true that you lack belief in god (i.e. it can be true *that* you're an atheist), your lack of belief itself cannot meaningfully be said to be true (etc). The BOP in a court room is determined by procedural rules of law, while the BOP in a conversation or a debate is determined by the claims being made. Notice that you've? conflated two very different notions while attempting to define atheism: (1) atheism is a lack of belief in god, and (2) atheism is a lack of belief in god because there is no reason to believe in god. It's not the case that Christians have a hard time understanding how atheists understand themselves, but that atheists themselves are confused. If you lack belief in god for a reason or set of reasons, then your atheism is not merely a lack of beilef.
