My son decided not to convert. He also used to wear tzitzit full time when we were practicing as karaites. Now he keeps kosher and? shabbat & that's enough for him. Did you see that poor teen who got traif Arby's and there was a FRESHLY cut off employee fingertip in it? ACK! Poor employee...poor kid! My husband sent me the link today...he said, "another reason I'm glad we eat kosher"! Yikes huh?

Yeah! I had planned to buy one & use it as a pattern but this looks easier! Actually my husband used to wear tzitzit on t-shirts. I cut up the side and sewed buttonhole openings so it was like those katan T shirts but when he asked the rabbi about what he should be doing, he said no kippah? (except in shul), & no tzitzit til the conversion process is complete. So that's on hold til then. Are you completely finished with your conversion yet?

there are a number of things you can do. you could add patches on the courners before you put the holes in? and it makes it look nicer, you could even put little riveits so it keep everything nice and neat, or even folf the edges and stitche them up so you have a nice hem on it.

Well that's a neat idea! Did you just cut a circle for your head? If I'm not mistaken,? I believe there's some rule about how far away from the corners the tzitzit hole has? to be as well. Something like a minimum measurement from the edge. Where's your techelet?

Chabad has Gates of Reincarnation if I remember correctly. You might have to? search the website a little. That's the only reason I mentioned it was because it was on their website. Personally, I believe in reincarnation. As far as I understand, it would happen after punishment...but not TOTALLY certain on that. I find this topic interesting and gather my opinion from the Tanakh? only. I believe that our souls return to the Creator. An afterlife isn't mentioned at all in the Torah so I'm still not sure how they came to many of these conclusions like purgatory and saying Kadish. It seems to be speculation. I know that our soul is eternal. On reincarnation, there's this interesting show found on Youtube called The Boy Who lived before watch?v=uN96KpwmR70 .I'd love your thoughts on that one!

One of our kids chose to be a ben noach, yet keeps kosher according to halakha since it seems in the Torah, that clean & unclean was known all along. No, that's never been the view of the Reform movement on kashrut. I've heard it said before that may have been why kashrut was developed...because of the diseases associated with unclean animals... but that's not a Reform stance. It's just people speculating. The early Reformers rejected it because they felt it dealt with temple purity and no longer applied. But, there have always been Jews in the? Reform movement that kept kosher.
