A very nice Gentleman by the name of Mr. Dave Christie loaned me his Telescopic Tripod with a computerized Mead 474 system. As soon as I picked it up I fabricated a mounting system so no damage will be done to the original mount.
This sequence has a total of 2190 pictures with only 1 minute & 31 seconds of enjoyment!

@MaartePinoy... 21raw images!!?? that is overkill. 3 images of -2, 0, +2 should? give you plenty (*but that just personal opinion as with more images you get, the more needs cleaning up (moving foliage, clouds, water, boats etc.) actually im surprised that yours quiet sharp on foliage, no ghosting... Some images are amazing (and some are overkill on glowing edges and too contrasty for my liking)!! My favorite is 2:31! Can I ask what lens do u use for shooting your cars @6:31? Thanks very much!

Okay, I've have Photomatix, use the "grunge" preset but cannot get the clouds to come out like you have. I have set my ISO to 100, used a tripod, have a Canon 5d M2, great lenses etc. and still having problems with the dam clouds not coming out at dramatic like you have here and on the Photomatix website. Are you using filters when you take your shots? May? I ask you just how you manage to get them to stand out so well? Thanks in advance, The Meltdownman

So sorry for the late reply, Im sure you got an answer by now but no, I do not? use a single "Raw" image. As a matter of fact I use up to 21 raw images to get the best dynamic range. Thanks for stopping by

HDR is subjective, just like photography itself, HDR is neither right or wrong, its up to the photographer or viewer what they think. Some things work better in HDR, personally i like to use it on a small scale, keeping my colours / contrast fairly low to get a true HDR image. others like to whack up all the settings to produce saturated images with lots of detail. If used? right HDR looks good and at the end of the day,? its up to the photographer what they wish to capture with their camera.

Still very new to this Time Lapsing but I just thought id try the panning effect anyway. Couldnt wait to purchase or fabricate a panning system so I manually turned my ball head 0.5 mm every 5 shots. I have always been known to have patience but 45 minutes into the shoot with another 15 to 20 minutes to go I wish I had waited for my panning system!
