Right. Thats one of the biggest? regrets-not being in the band. But my high school band was trash and I wasnt gone embarrass myself with them. Even if I went 2 another school though I'm not sure I would've marched (my personality wouldnt allow it). But if I could turn back the hands of time (with the attitude I have now) I would've definitely did it. And I would've been right at State. So at least you got that experience, and being part of one of the greatest bands rich in tradition. MMH all day!

Lol it's okay everyone is entitled to their opinion. I felt like I let everyone down so I apologize. But my crab sect ldr I molded got them right so that's what it's all about. Teaching and leading...I can't win? all the battles lol

Oh! LOL...How awkward: you were the section leader of that trombone section. It wasn't trash, just disappointing. I understand though...negroes will act a fool instead of aiming for? glory.

08 wasn't that bad but some seasons are going to be up or down. But I could care less about that one mistake we made, that's the past and no section? is perfect. A lot of sections messed up that game.

Yeah the earlier years before 05 was good too. Ehh 07 was okay lol but 08 I was section ldr that year so of course I take the fall but we made one mistake which I didn't conduct bc I like to play rather than conduct (just my preference). But it was a lot? internally going on...can't run a section alone with 30 negro adults with diff attitudes, agendas etc. Trust me I wanted it to be close to 05 but the 08 bone crab class was the best I've seen since I marched 5 seasons.

Yes! '05 in addition to '01 - '04 (even though '01 & '02 they were real small) and '07...those were the best of the '00s to me. '08 was good and, essentially, big? too, but I was real disappointed in them at the classic that year--particularly the trombones section--God they got killed. Still my favorite band though!

I feel the same about arrangements played when I crabbed in 05. No year will ever come close to perfection at state in the 2000's?

Nothing beats ASU's '97 edition of this song. Period. No disrespect to this year's band or ones in the future, but this song? should be retired because it will never be better than that.
