Hi Tim. Thanks very much for your support my friend. My dad had to go back in the hospital but I am with him every dad cheering him on and trying to get him positive so he can come home on the right foot and feeling good. He is making progress. Hello Joe. First off it is great to have you back. You may have missed some threads, contests and many videos of course. I know when I miss a day or even a half of day there are many more videos being posted. You will catch up I am sure. Thanks for asking about my dad. Hi Kevin, My dad is getting better and is coming home today. He will have to go back in a few days for a smaller surgery and I am hoping that he gets strong enough to carry on with everyday things that he used to do. The VC has been amazing and I will address this in a video. I hope your thread is getting responses and? I am sorry that I have not been able to do it and others also. I wish I had the time to give the VC my all but hopefully soon I will. You take care, thanks Rob

Thanks again my good friend Ottavio. When you do get around to? listening to the Minutemen LP you will probably be just as elated as I am when I put it on. I will try to check out that documentary tonight for sure. You keep me posted on all of these films that I missed growing up. I cannot believe that level of play the Bruins have had lately? Good news about your dad. Some addiction this vinyl, huh? I've yet to listen to DNOTD. That shrink wrap on it? is probably creasing the record cover as we speak! They call it compulsive consumerism. Gotta have it NOW...but God knows when I'll actually enjoy it? Oh, and do check out "We Jam Econo" which is a bird's eye view documentary of our trio from San Pedro. I'll send you a link -it's in 6 parts on YouTube. (That's a nice copy of Fragile!)

Thank you Chris. I hope you are doing very well yourself. My dad is making good progress and should be coming home later this week. The infection has got much better but it still is draining and has a little bit more to go. They are? going to have to do another smaller surgery and I hope he will be OK through it. It has been quite an exhausting ordeal but I will do anything in my power to help him. He is the most important male figure in my life. Thanks again Chris, Rob

Thanks Andreas. I hope you are doing well. My dad? has made excellent progress. I am expecting him to go home for good tomorrow or the next day. He will have restrictions and he will need another smaller surgery. But the infection in his stomach is about 80% gone. The VC has been amazingly supportive to me and him through all of this. He is the most important male figure in my life so I do anything in my power to keep him well. Thanks again, talk to you soon Andreas, Rob

Hello Jonas. It is always great hearing from you. I hope that you are doing good and work is as well. My dad is coming home tomorrow. He is still going to recovering and will have to wear certain things until the infection is completely gone. He will also be going back in the hospital for another smaller surgery in the next ten days. But it was all crazy and the VC has been very supportive to? which I am very appreciative. Hello Ottavio, I was thinking of you today when I took out Minutemen's Double Nickels to spin. You know I really dug D. Boon. Also the bass laying and drumming were just fantastic. I probably would have shunned these guys back in 1975 or 77 but how could you not love their talent. My dad is doing better. I just hope he can stay that way for a while. The infection from the abscess in his stomach is about 80% better. The VC has been very supportive and it has shown me just how family orientated this community is. Hi Jeff, I hope that you are doing well also. I just sent you a PM that hopefully answer a few questions about my father. The support from the VC has been amazing. I cannot believe the level of maturity and caring that the VC represents. If anyone every questions what the VC is all? about I would answer that question by saying "a family of friends who share music with one another as well as caring, respect and love".
