I like the organ especially when there are these beautiful timbres being used to make melodies and harmonies come together like in this nice Handel concerto.. listen to1.34 min. till 1.43 for a good example of that :-)

was cleaning up my pc and saw this (a.o.) video snippet of my playing. It was recorded in conservatory some years ago..when it was still situated opposed the Van Gogh museum.. ah, good times :-)
I used the ending of this lilttle warm up exercise I 'composed' in an improvisation I've uploaded here as well.

rhythm doesn't mean? that all notes are played perfectly evenly all the time, like a machine.... listen to great players like Heifetz and Horowitz....it's called rubato.....the overall beat stays the same, but the notes speed up and slow down within that framework.....it's almost a lost art...maybe now you can be more than an "Ordinary Critic".....actually, the best overall recording of the Bach Suites is Pierre Fournier....Rostropovich is a long way from being my favorite...poor taste.....

it doesn't take a great ear to hear that this is out of tune, even with a lot? of reverb....the first two notes(both "D"s don't even match up...like I said, listen to Maisky if you want to hear great cello playing...

Oh, so you're saying that you somehow have the ability to tell which notes are out of? tune even after the pitches have been obscured, leaving the listener with the "impression" that Kirshbaum might actually be playing completely in tune? Listen to yourself...

I really like this interpretation. Most of the others I? heard sounded a little too slow and over exaggerated. But this one was a little faster with emphasis on the right places.
