Solely? an opinion: what every economy needs is not to focus on creating more jobs, but on creating more business owners. The focus needs to be shifted; by creating businesses, you create employment. Governments who don't understand this are looking at the 'problem' from the wrong angle; facilitate self employment, facilitate entrepreneurship, and it will have a much deeper impact on employment.

its not really a liberal thing. Its just that people are frustrated and they are choosing to blame someone, anyone. Many conservatives feel the same way about the current system. The best thing to do is for us all? to get educated on the matter so we can discuss things with the facts in our hands.

Macey didnt seem like he was pro-private equity anyway. He was there just to be informative and he helped explain a lot of things to people that dont understand. Private Equity firms cant take all the blame regardless. The entire political? system is in shambles.

Jonathan Macey was not destroyed at all. He successfully shifted the 'blame', if there should be any, from the private equity firms to the corrupt political system. He? was totally unphased by Stewart and very patient and informative.

Jon Stewart is trying his best to understand what private equity firms do and can't wrap his simple mind around the fact they are vital to a capatalistic society(Vultures if you will...)
