So tired of cashier dictating my legitimate purchase with coupons. Is it true a coupon for 1 is? used on an item selling for 99 can be adjusted and will the store receive 1 from manufacture ? Someone please confirm this. I'm tired of being told how I can spend or not spend my money. In the cashiers eyes. I want something for free and I am scamming. U can do this scenrio at CVS, according to their coupon policy, they allow bogo sale with bogo qpon. Just take? their qpon policy with you, and make sure it's up to date. next time u have this problem, u show them the policy and tell them tha your following all the rules. Hope this helps. :)

Its funny how people seem to only care if there is a coupon involved. If I walked into a store and bought 5, 10 or 20 of an item and paid CASH....no one would say boo. But because there is a coupon involved all of a sudden? there is an issue. I agree that Target, Walgreens and Walmart in that order are the worst when it comes to coupons. Walgreens is even doing "reverse coupon fraud" ! Stores can set limits all they want but I think the true problem is that they dont order properly for sales.

I think its good they are limiting. On the other hand coupons has def.? increased and I feel the stores are getting fed up with dealing with us couponers. I have barely seen any good deals here in Miami, FL for the past 2 or 3 months. I've read countless times the Walmart policy allowing overage or cash back and even corporate won't honor their coupon policy. My Walgreens won't even accept my printed coupons when it clearly states in the policy that it's allow and won't even accept my coupons when they are worth? more than the item even though the policy states that the coupon will only equal to the amount of the item. I forget what store locally I called it was in So Cal I called but they had told me only the first coupon of an item would be doubled up to that dollar max? cap. And subsequent items in that transaction would not be deemed matchable to that dollar. Ralph's or Von's it was. Pretty sad that that show selling out on the concept is now punishing us savings wise.

they do get paid for you using the coupon because the? company pays store back for the coupon used. They also get paid an incentive for accepting the coupon. The amount is posted on the coupon how much extra they get

Changing the policy might be a good thing but why change it? I've gone to so much stores and the managers/employees who work there don't know a thing about their policy. I even brought their policy that I printed out and all they did was ignore it. Walgreens, Walmart, and Target are? the top three places that I have the hardest time! So if stores are planning to change their policy, I hope they really inform their employees/managers about it so it will make couponing a lot better.

i think that's false information ... cause i? actually did my first coupon shopping two nights ago at target and picked up a couple of items on the clearance rack which i had coupons for and i didn't have a problem with it ... the coupons went through just fine, so maybe check with your local manager or the district manager ,,,, !!!

if you buy huggies, you can go on their website and sign up for specials and usually they'll mail you coupons every now and then ...? also, at wal mart - the huggies boxes usually have manufacturer coupon attached to the box for $2 off ... so look out for that ... if you buy pampers - usually the coupon books in the sunday papers will have coupons for that ... other solution is to sign up online for printable coupons from your personal printer ...

Print out the coupon policy. It doesn't say that anywhere on the policy, therefore I would argue that it isn't true. I've never had a problem? with using coupons on clearance items so I'm not sure what evil plot they're up to with you :P

I would be carefull when combining coupons. I was doing it for Revlon beauty tools and the target receipt? prints like items grouped together. So instead of 2 items being put together that would equal $5...instead it grouped items so every two beauty tools would equal $6 or $7 that totally screwed up my coupon strategy cause I was counting on using a $5 coupon and getting the stuff for free. nope. I even argued for several minutes with a cashier once. so becareful.

This really depends on the store, Walmart's coupon and price match policy ends with "up to the discretion of the store manager". I personally have been successful with Walmart matching prices after ECB and RR and then at a different Walmart they would only take the sale price before ECB and RR. The stores are real close to each other so i don't think its regional. the main thing is try not to argue with the manager, you can? always put it back and not pay if you don't like the price.

Walgreens is tricky. If you are using a RR to pay for an item by the manufacturer, then it won't produce a new one. Let's say both pantene and crest are giving RR this week, if you buy the pantene shampoo and earn a RR, then turn around and use that RR on crest toothpaste, it wouldn't print you a new RR for the crest b/c they are both distributed by P&G. However if you use? that Pantene RR on a colgate RR item, then it would work fine since they are different manuf. HTH!

I'm new to this and actually tried shopping with coupons at Walgreens a few days ago. I did a few transactions to be able to get the RR. However, when I tried to use a RR on the next transaction which would give me a different RR, the cashier said that if I use the RR from the previous transaction, I would not get the next RR. She also infomed me that everything is at the discression of the store manageer, coupon policy or not and that they don't have to price match competetors,? like target etc, because we have none in our town. All we have is walmart and safeway, all other stores are 35 miles away, so they say they don't have to honor price matches.I have not had any problem with either walmart in both drections of my town, just the one in my own town. Heather, had a bad experience at my walmart today. I had 4 coupons for b1g1 suave professional shampoo. Coupon says limit 1 coupon per purchase, max 4 like coupons per shopping trip. Well the cashier said i couldn't purchase them all in the same transaction, store? manager came and said i had to buy them in 4 seperate transactions, that purchase & transaction mean the same thing. Wow I had no idea the hillcrest Ralphs let you double more than the first 'like' coupon! The Vons and Ralphs here will double the first 'like' coupon AND they will only accept 2 of the same coupon? AND they will only allow you to do ONE transaction! I'm tempted to drive to hillcrest!

Call the stores in your area and ask how many? coupons you can use "per transaction". In NY Pathmark, from Fri to Sun, we can only use 20 coupons "per transaction". They don't want you holding up the lines on busy days. And they don't like it when you have back to back transactions either, but I get my sister to stand on a different line. But the rest of the week, you can use as many as the computer will handle. It all depends on your stores' policy.

My name is Josh, and that is me and my family in this video. It was great fun to have Joanie and Melissa come in our home and? teach us how to coupon. I read a post that said they felt bad for us because we got pushed to the side. In all honesty, that was just for 10 minutes that they actually filmed us. Im a cashier at walgreens, and believe me..coupons can be very confusing!! But its easy once you? get it down. With walgreens, you must have the same amount of items as the amount of items. For example, you could NOT buy 2 bottles of shampoo with 3 manufacturer coupons. (any coupons not in the big weekly ad that comes in the newspaper). So usually, couponers get "filler items" to allow them to use all their coupons. My suggestion is buying a laffy taffy at check out..cheapest item in store! (:

I actually use a combination of both. I am so OCDish about organization so I use a spreadsheet for each weekly insert, listing the coupons in that date in alphabetical order. Then I clip my coupons? and use the baseball card holders to place them in, and put my dated spreadsheet on top. So it is by date with a little more time on organzing each coupon. This way I have it all clipped in a store for ease, and yet when looking online I can look for a specific date referenced on a deal. :)

When you're using the "by date" binder method how do you find which coupons you want to use? Do you literally flip through the whole binder looking for coupons for items on your list? Also, when do you start purging your binder? Since one page can have coupons with a wide range of expiration dates (i.e. coupon A expires 5/31/11 & coupon B expires 7/15/11), how do you weed out old coupons? Do you just want until the last? coupon expires & then throw out the page? Thanks for all your help & advise!

If u have a riteaid drugstore near you and you have? a bogo coupon and they have that same item on sale in theirstore as bogo, take in your coupon and both items are free. Its worded just that way on their coupon policy. But you'r right bogo can be confusing.

You can also find the baseball card? holders at Target in the toy section where the pokemon cards etc. that's where I found mine.

Great info! Thanks for all your videos! I sat and watched them all in one night! Could you do a video on shopping at Fred Meyer/Kroger? I live in a small town in southern Oregon and Fred Meyer is just about the only place to shop! My husband works in the jewlery dept. so we get? an automatic discount on store brand stuff including Kroger and Private Select. They do not double coupons, which is dissapointing. Also, can you tell me if Fred Meyer will accept Kroger coupons?

Our safeway catalina coupons are not like that. I get them all the time but they are never for anything i would buy. the catalina coupons i get are item specific so i wouldn't be able to roll them onto something on my next shopping trip unless i got the item pictures on the catalina. I have also never seen any coupon books? in my store and i have looked. We don't have the coupons in the isles either.
