I don't get what the big deal is Punk/HHH was a good match before the interference and the run ins were a logical fit to the storyline. Triple H winning made sense and Punk has a thousand excuses for why he lost. Truth breaking up the pin on? H was strange but I heard that might have been a botch. It's okay for Punk to lose sometimes remember Cena was just as popular in 2005 before the fans turned on him because he was winning all the time.

I hadn't watched your video when I made this video. I'd only seen LV's, Tslay's, and a few others that lasted only 30 seconds. I'm not sure every storyline needs to be black and white. Usually WWE does black and white storylines (heel vs face) so I think inserting some shades of grey? makes this unique. Hopefully they define these roles by survivor series

Yeah, it's pretty much Russo booking, but the difference between this nd how Russo would do it, is There was a reason behind this, when Russo does it there isn't. I feel like I explained myself pretty well. It's hard to follow because they haven't been making clear the face/heel distinction between Punk/HHH. Trying to insert so many others in the story while they're still doing that is too much. Unique characters with unique motivations are good. Storylines that make you? think are good too. But it should always be clear who you're supposed to cheer for, and here it wasn't.

1. Agreed 2. Most of it probably did make sense but they could have done it better. It just stopped being a match once all the run ins started and just became a mess in my opinion. And R-Truth pulling Punk out to stop him for getting the pin didn't make sense at all 3. Agreed if? they continue the feud. Sorry? to have to tell you this, but most people don't like big man matches, and for the most part look at guys like Henry and Big Show as a throw-away match. It's more of a required taste that not everyone is going to indulge in. Personally, I actually enjoyed it - it's what Big Show/Khali should have been...but totally wasn't.

For example CM Punk has gotten so much attention over the last two weeks because of his promos and more people will watch the match at MITB than usual. Create and build a character that people care about, put the character in storylines that draw interest and put on great wrestling matches to keep people interested and wanting more.? Great video and I enjoyed both perspectives on? the situation. I totally agree that if the match place in 2005-06 it probably would of been just your standard X Division stuff. Aries stood out as the best personality not just because of his promo but his demeanor inside the ring. I think the key is to get the fans to connect with the guys not just because of mic skills but in ring work & in ring personality as well. All guys had a different flavor that night so that's why it made a nice combo

Bottom line, being one-dimensional? isn't enough in this day and age. You need a combination of both if you want to get people interested in you.

i feel that impact or some other show (other NXT's) that were actually trying to be taken seriously were a lot less? interesting than nxt season 3 because even the commentators didn't want you take it seriously (which might have hurt the actual talent and even buried them) but it was just such a unique and different feel that i still somewhat appreciated it from a purely entertainment/trash entertainment standpoint
