That's the thing with Metallica, they've been around, going on what 30 years? And they're? style has changed as well the band members over that time. So it's almost like being able to listen to different kinds of music within the same band. Personally, I like the somewhat older stuff best Death Magnetic through Black Album

yeah, dont get me wrong, i understand that people consider them bad albums, i personally enjoy them albums, i know theyre not metallicas greatest albums, but the music is still good imo. St. Anger had its good points aswell, but you are right, they have made bad decisions. but dont we? all. I just hate to see people commenting on james' voice all the time, i prefer the way he sounds today, seems more pro to me, and a lot more trained in. But thats what i like. :)
