Have had my CC24 for close to 5 years. Deep red with gold hardware.? When i got it the action was too high so i removed both shims in the bridge under the pick up which made it so much easier to play.

hey i just wanted to mention that ovation recommends D'Addario EXP 16 Coated Phosphor Bronze? light strings, and thats what the guitar comes with. but stick with watever works for you.

Great gig but makes you feel really old when I remember first seeing them at the Apollo in 1979. its not only Jet Black thats getting on a bit - so are the audience. Anyway still a good as ever.

Not a clue - cant even remember having a support band - I do remember going to see? the the Buzzcocks in either 78 or 79 at the appollo - still got the ticket somewhere for £1.50!! and the support were Joy Division - That whats you call a support band eh !!!

I was at that gig, im only 13, i wish? i was around to see the stranglers when they where young, although im happy i never knew about them when paul roberts was lead, my dad told me he was terrible.

The apollo is a much more intimate venue than the usaul arenas. Micks voice anf the band sounde better than ever. Kenji's solos were astounding.

Good times have done me wrong at Manchester Apollo 3/7/08. Ive been going to Simply Red gigs since about 1988 but this was one the best. Cant wait for the "goodbye" tour. Enjoy !!
