Last time I? saw a Bolex 8/19/1.5x on eBay they were going for around £350. It's big brother, the 16/32/1.5x was going for around £550. They might be dual focus, but they're better than the Isco's wide open, and focus down to about 3.5 ft with the right taking lens.

The music makes it sound like you're on a mission to either kill someone or perform some kind of pagan ritual. Pretty heavy. Sounds like music from Conan. And to me the footage has kind of an old school super 8 vibe to it- which I'm pretty sure you weren't going? for. Maybe it's the shakiness. Anyway, I dig it.

so what is currently the? cheapest anamorphic lens out there that is still good? seems like the cost for these lens just keep going up.
