Great review Sophie, but I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on the brush vs. sponge topic. I use a damp egg-shaped sponge (which doesn't soak up as much product as a dry one), and I love the smooth, even finish it gives, better than any brush I've used, and I've tried flat foundation brushes, stippling brushes, buffing brushes, etc. None of them give the coverage/finish I'm looking for, and I have dry skin too. But to each? their own right? :) I need to go shopping now lol! :)

I just wanted to clarify something from this video and others. You can't sterilize something by simply pouring boiling water over/in it or putting it in the dishwasher. Sterile means that no life forms or debris exist on it. In order to sterilize something, it must go in an ultrasonic bath, then in an autoclave or have another sterilization method used. What you really? mean is to sanitize or disinfect. Sanitizing removes 99.9% of microbial life. Disinfecting removes 99.99% of microbial life.

I like this recipe, I also make a toner using distilled rose water (which I can buy at the grocery store) and witch hazel (one part witch hazel to 3? parts rose water). It has really helped even out my skintone and my dry skin is less dry when I tone with this and moisturize with argan/jojoba/roship oils.

Thanks Sophie, I? will have to look out for some of these brands though I'm not sure they have made their way across the Canadian border here yet. Have you ever tried the Kiss My Face line, specifically the Potent & Pure lineup? It is supposed to be all natural, all-organic skin care, they have cleansers, scrubs, serums and moisturizers. I really like the creamy face cleanser, the ester-c serum and the mint/jojoba scrub, all very gentle.

The? way that I wash my hair causes a lot of knots to form and when I use the Aubrey conditioner, it acts like an instant detangler. No other conditioner I have ever used comes close... :/ These products may be 'healthier' for you but a great deal of these companies (neutrogena and clearasil in the last video and cover girl in this one) test on animals. If I'm going to go green, I would prefer to go green while looking out for the safety? and happiness of animals. I would do so over my own safety, actually. I really like your videos, but I am looking for products that have a 0 score. Because there aren't that many, I do end up making my own (products are truly organic can be so expensive). All my skin care and hair care (everything I use on my body)? is handmade. It's not difficult, but it does require time and a willingness to experiment!! Making your own products also decreases the amount of plastics you are buying and needing to dispose of, and nothing is tested on animals.

have you tried using bi-carb soda and water, or diluted castille soap? I have dry curly hair, so don't need much of a shampoo at all (conditioner is more important), so maybe people with straight hair (more likely to become oily),? will not find it as effective.

Sophie, I never found a bronzer as gorgeous, glam, gold glow as the Pheremone Liquid Gold. It came in a glass bottle pump, and the teeny pots of mica powder just dry out my face & make wrinkles.
