I think you are referencing 2:54 where Professor green says? "One plausible explanation of the origins of HUMANS...". So he was just describing the natural selection process of the evolutionary branches at the end of the spectrum where humans originated, not the origin of life in general. Was that what you were talking about or was there another area I missed?.

NATURAL SELECTION DOESN'T CREATE. It can? only "select" from what is produced that has survival value. It only operates once there is life and reproduction and not before, so it couldn't be involved in life's origins. Natural selection is a passive process, not a creative process. The real issue is not natural selection but what biological variations are possible in nature. Read my Internet article, WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS!

IT'S NOT? OVER. In Darwin's time not enough science was known to refute macro-evolution. There was no understanding of genetics. Darwin thought the cell was just a simple glob. No one knew about DNA, RNA, proteins. Modern evolutionists now know but the? theory is entrenched as gospel and a lot of personal motives are at stake as well. NATURAL LIMITS TO EVOLUTION: Only evolution within "kinds" is genetically possible (i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.), but not evolution across "kinds" (i.e. from worm to human). @TheCFTelethonChain Wow. You just described EXACTLY the thing I try to describe to others when discussing ANY controversial issue. When your conversation partner makes a FACTUAL statement that is absolutely and demonstrably not true, you MUST keep? the topic on that issue and ask them not how it is true, but WHY they say it is true. It makes them think where they heard it, and it gets them to think of their sources.

Thank you TheCFTelethonChain. That is a great compliment. I intend to make a series of these with Professor Green and Linda as she progresses in her understanding of evolution. And you are correct that they do not have to be mutually exclusive. I grew up in a 'Young Earth creationism" church and they always made it an? "atheist" issue, making me feel I had to be an atheist to believe evolution occurred.
