(Comment Continued) In my opinion a degree and grades are just a? bunch of letters and numbers on a piece of paper. I didn't get high GCSE grades, with IT and Science being the two exceptions. Engish in my opinion should only teach you to? Read, Write, Speak and Understand English. All this stuff about poetry and literature is a waste of time, unless you really want to learn them. Art, Dance and Music are also a waste of time unless your really interested in it. Self education is paramount to me. I feel I learn almost nothing useful in high school. I really do think that elementary and middle school were vital to me being any somewhat functional member of society. I agree on everything else but Math is an absolute essential subject to learn in depth. What you're missing? here is the fact that math apart from teachings you how to get a result from an equation, it develops your neuron connections, so you can think laterally and figure out problems much more quickly in any other real life situation. History teaches you about the stories of the past, but they also teach you about how humanity relates to each other, which links in with the world we live.

Following a set curriculum doesn't give teachers the freedom to teach they way they want. I went to a class that the teacher as given more freedom because of his doctorate status. He taught in 3's. 3 simple things that e talked about in depth. Everyone went home being able to know the exact 3 things we learnt as opposed to forgetting? 10 things we learnt in one class. I went to college for a short time and realized (that although i was taking the classes i wanted geared towards my career choice) i wasnt really learning the things i felt i needed to succeed. i felt myself wasting money and effort for something that meant very little? to me. I later joined the Military and although im not quite at my ultimate goal i have at least put myself in a position to get there while at the same time being stable.

I've realized? that college is more of a formality than actual learning. Most career paths realistically don't need 4 years of education to be successful in the field. There are some exceptions such as a chemistry degree or many fields of engineering but in general, not really.

iPhone? Sorry for double comment. The only problem with college/university is that people seem to think that a degree automatically gets them a job. In reality when they finish they find no jobs for which require that degree. I didn't do to well in Matthematics or English in school, I did well in Science and IT. I did well in college, but I couldn't even get hired by GAME. It's not just about skills, what employers want to know is if you can do the job.

I invested the money into a good machine as this is one of source of revenue making videos and along with podcasts, live streaming etc why not get a better machine if you have the money. The rendering power is always good to have plus multitasking etc with other apps final? cut, photoshop etc.
