Papaano nabuo ang mga unang organism? Malamang nabuo ito mula sa abiogenesis, pero hindi tayo sigurado kung ano talagang nangyari. Noong unang panahon akala ng mga tao na ang mga karamdaman, lindol, kidlat, etc. ay gawa ng Dyos. Alam na natin ngayon ang tunay na paliwanag sa mga ito. Hindi mo kailanganing makilala ang sumulat ng mga scientific essay dahil gumamit ang may-akda nito ng scientific method (falsifiable and testable). Kung halatang nagsisinungaling ang scientist na yun, isang segundo pa lang nabatikos na kaagad yun. Kaya nga peer-reviewed eh. Hydrocarbons, hindi bato. Konting? google search lang, makakahanap ka ng mga peer-reviewed na mga essay tungkol dito. At kahit naman ang mga scientist, hindi nila alam 100% kung paano talaga nabuo ang buhay. Hindi pa conclusive ang mga panukala tungkol sa pinagmulan ng unang buhay. Pero kailangan ba nating ipagkunyaring lahat ng bagay na hindi pa natin batid ay nabuo gawa ng magic ayon sa mga iba't ibang relihiyon/mythologies? The problem with god theories is they explain nothing and answer nothing. God belief is a speculative attempt to fill the gaps for what we don't know resulting in numerous definitions for "god". But it doesn't work because "god" has no explanatory power. It's an abdication of thoughtful inquiry---you might as well say "magic"---something mankind resorts to in his? early, primitive stages of development. The most intellectually honest answer for what we don't know is to say "we don't know".

Some clarification is in order. 1) Atheism does not assert-- "there is no god". It is a position of skepticism which holds that without sound evidence for god, there is no reason to believe one exists. Scientific methodology is modeled after this. 2) Evolution is the? study of speciation and adaptation of life, not it's origins. Abiogenisis studies life's origins. 3) Evolution does not preclude the existence of god (except to young earth creationists). Many Christians accept evolution.
