Actually, now the 6 cell versions come with an updated case that actually covers everything. You can use the standard case, if you already have one with the? 6 cell, the battery will just stick out a bit, not bad at all. If you did buy an earlier 6 cell version, you can send your case back to Acer and they will send you the proper case.

Thanks for this video! Anyways, I used a knife instead of a? razor blade, was much easier to find. I also pulled downward on the keyboard until there was a gap at the top, which I stuck my blade in, and then pressed the clips

There's an urban legend that states that even the "dust" from a broken sparkplug will shatter the windshield of a vehicle. I didn't believe it, in fact I was so sure it wouldn't work, that I tried it on my 04 Mitsubishi Lancer. It did, however, leave some nasty scratches in the glass.. Check it out!

The windshield is not tempered glass like all the other windows. The back and side windows are made from "tempered safety glass" which has a high surface tension. The high surface tension means you can't just put a crack? in this glass. It will always shatter into small pieces for safety. Windshields are made from layers of no-tempered glass which are laminated together. This is why you can see cars with a cracked windshield but any other window which is cracked will be completely broken out.

I would be dead if it was not for the special way windscreens are made now, it still cracked my skull and left a nasty scar, basically got a big Nike tick on my head but it's better than going flying through the window. Side and rear windows are tempered glass that is? designed to shatter easily into either small shards or cubes, aluminum oxide ceramic is what you take from the SP, it rates 9 on the mohs scale where as diamond is 10 and glass is 6.5, that's the key to it.
