Have you spoken to your doctor about the pains and how bad are they? Please talk to someone if you feel you have to, always follow your first gut . Being tired is so normal and you will feel tired really through out the pregnancy cause i still do at times.?

Hi Vicky! Thank you!! I am, it has been trying because in the beginning i was soo sick with nausea and thought it would never end. I am glad to say i am much better now, but as pregnancy does, it creates a new challenge almost every day. I have to take a blood test on Dec 2 to see if i really have this thing called Anti E. My doc is nowhere near worried , but i am. i just try to continue to? pray and leave it to God. Praying for a healthy and happy baby in May :)

NO!!!! Please don't, i was like you are, but i had to experiment and i went through pure hell trying to figure out what works for my texture. I tried so many things and i figured out after LOTS of trial and error and assistance from GypsyCurls (love you girl!!) that my hair hated oil and anything with protein in it. I? love Oyin Handmade's Whipped Pudding, it is shea butter based and natural. I do all natural products and i think that helps a lot too. Go to curlmart.com to read up :)

It seems when I am ready to wash out my 2 strand twists or coils I fall back on my puff for a few days! I am trying to wear them a little less now so I can prevent my hairline from thinning...but that is one of my all-time favs!! I am rocking comb coils still, this makes week number 2!! Yay!! But I have an appointment for tomorrow...so I hope to get something a little different...more like an updo!! Look for a vid early next week showcasing my? new style!! Have a great weekend!!

Good to be back, i have missed my natural community and friends :). Thank you so much, i appreciate that you like the style! I twist my hair after a good cowash while still damp with castor oil or shea butter. I think in that? pic it was the castor oil. I got mine from the health foods store. Use a little fingertip amount cause a little def goes a long way and i have ended up with greasies from using too much lol. The next morning i just take the twists out :)

Thanks! It was weird because i didn't get it cut, i just got it trimmed and that was the way it fell after that. Unfortunately, i have not mastered getting it to look like that again (lol), natural hair does whatever? it wants to do. I have been wearing it flat twisted in the front and back into a wash and go puff. I like it so far and it is a lot easier cause i don't have to do much of anything. No prob and anytime! Senagalese twists are pretty :). I wanted some Kinky Twists myself, but i have a pretty tender head and i can not stand for it to be even a little bit uncomfortable. The only thing i can think of is for you? to try to keep your scalp oiled and that will help with any dryness so you won't get all itchy and stuff. Do you tie your hair down at night? That will also help so it won't cause friction and breakage.

This is a twist out, i don't? do wash and gos really. I have maybe twice, but i thought about it today because now my hair is longer and was curious. Lol, do it girl!!! I know what you mean about it feeling like yesterday. Right now i am wearing it pressed out and omg i am missing my texture!!! My husband likes it, but told me he LOVES my natural (lol). Hey Nicolle! Yes i hesitated on buying it because of that price (lol), but it wouldn't be any different from any other product i have tried and either loved or wasted money on. I am a true junkie, but i am working on that! But that is how i found my products that i can not do without. Hey! That is so sweet :) . I am slowly coming back,? i don't feel nowhere near "healed", but i miss the friends i made here. I have that same prob with my ends! I hate it, but i just slather them with a good conditioner and try to lightly detangle using my fingers. The castor oil i use to "set" my twists o damp hair, seems to help this prob for me. There is a conditioner i paid crazy money for called "Afro Detangler", but it works! My comb slides through when i use it. Hope that helps sis :)

Hi! Lol, i use a toothbrush and the flaxseed gel.? If you like, you can tie it down with a satin scarf for just a few minutes. I don't always do that though, my hair slicks really easily just with the toothbrush. Oh, use a regular brush just to get it back first. Hope that helps some :). God Bless

Ran into a girl my husband and i went to school with and she was very pregnant and i just had to get away from her. Oh ok lol! It is funny that i have had a little "morning sickness" and that it has hardly been in the am. But right now it seems to be gone for the most part, but i do have occassional heartburn which is never good and i get foot cramps! That is weird to me because i use to get leg cramps but not foot cramps. They hurt too!! Found out in the beginning that i had a cyst but i don't feel? anything now. I am trying to stay healthy and keep stress down. I have just been exhausted! Thanks sis! :)

Lol, i think it is just a normal thing :). This was an old video i believe, i lost that baby sadly :(. I did have another last? year, he will be a year old the end of this month. Yeah, i chose to go organic when i found out about all the additives in our foods and our body care. I just wanted the best for my kids mainly. Yes God is awesome!!!!! :)

Lol, wow I got? lazy when I was preg too. And it's so funny bc I'm wearing my hair the same way & just put a silk scarf on without twisting but I'm loving it. So I feel your pain! I love castor oil! I think it's amazing you do organic! I slacked a lil during my preg but I'm getting back on track! God is good! Natural is an inside/out thing!

Oh ok! I buy my henna from a site called Mehandi. I really like theirs a lot, but it is not always convenient to have to order? stuff. This time i got some from Whole Foods by Light Mountain. I got the kind to color gray hair and my husband looked at me like i was crazy (lol). I just got it because i have heard more of that brand than the other one and usually the ones for gray hair really work (my opinion). But i think you could achieve the color you want with a henna.

i think i want to dye it back to its original color or? as close as i can...i want like a warm brown...my hair use to be a sandy brown but it seems as i got older it got darker in color? but i dont want something too dark that its looking black..i want a nice healthy looking brown(med) i have like a light redish looking brown on the ends of my hair now, so i just want to tone it down to a regular natural looking brown?? and where do i get henna from??

Hey girl it has been a while, how have you been?! Thanks, i had to take some pics because i look so rough in this video lol. Had to show yall i can look decent :) . The henna is really not that bad, you just have to tweak it a bit so that it will not be drying. I add olive oil to my mix and i use orange juice instead of water. But different henna requires different methods of mixing.? What color are you trying to dye it? I will keep you posted on the baby! :) Take care and God Bless girl!

Good to see you...wishing you and your little continue to flourish. As for hair, your hair will grow like a weed but it also sheds like crazy about? 3 months post pregancy. With a 9 month old, this is all fresh in my memory...lost my edges ;( but they are back now :) Take care.

I have been using flaxseed gel, i love it! It makes waves pop and works great at slicking my hair down. I maintain it by tying it down with a satin scarf also. Hope that helps a? little!

Hay Lady! Glad everything is going well with you and the baby. I know when people say my hair looks nice and i think i am having a bad hair day i just think they are crazy, but i have to tell you that i think your hair looks great even after 2 weeks. When you used the Castor Oil did you experience much shirnkage? I kept my hair out of the? kinky twist most of the summer so now it's cold so i did them again 2 days ago cause it seems to grow. Hope yours grows like you want it to while pregnant

I can not say exactly how many twists i put in, but they range from small to big so that i get both tight and loose coils. I try to get it as big as i can without it unraveling, but i have been lazy lately (lol). Don't you just love? shrinkage (lol)? It is amazing isn't it? Thankyou girl, i will try to !

Thanks so much! I believe it to be 4a, 4b but i really do not know exactly. It is a? mix of textures! It is very very easy to lay down smooth, yet i have a lot of super tight spirals that if i mess with too much i make it look very fro like. So i have to handle with care to maintain definition. But when it is wet and i apply gel, it looks so much different and i have crazy shrinkage!! The headband is really one of those satin scarves that i just kinda folded. Thanks on my baby :) !
