Your argument is good, in fact great. you are correct. However, skilled germans were making those kills in? 109's (which, yes were older but they were familiar with) while rookies (pretty much all of tuskeege) 3 to be exact made those kills with new planes and little combat experience. those are good numbers. Not to take away from the 109 it was a great fighter. However put a rookie in a 109 and a rookie in a p-51 and see what kind of advantages each has, they both will have their advantages.

depends on the skill of the pilots, Hartmann shot down? 388 allied planes, Nowotny flamed 258, HaJo Marseille managed to down 158, much more German pilots got more than 100 victories each. Is it to hard to understand?With it off you still have to lead your target, what it changes is just the amount of damage a? plane can take before going down.So with that option turned on, a well placed burst is all you need to set a plane on fire and I hate that!!! Not necesssarily. If the pilot had lead his target just a bit more (I know, everyone is an expert armchair pilot), he would have tore him up with those eight guns. The Jug isn't as maneuverable but it out guns the 109, is much faster in a dive at altitude and can take alot of abuse. Anyway,? I was cheering you on the whole flight like in a movie. Great video.

I? fly using the Xbox 360 controller. On realistic, most planes handle pretty well if you don't do anything monumentally stupid. The only plane that's impractical to fly without a joystick I've found has been the P-51, especially the D model. If you plan on doing anything more than gentle banks, you'd better be REALLY careful or have a joystick. Of course, on simulator, it's a whole different story. Using the controller, it's, shall we say, a tad difficult for any plane.

The P-51 version in the game I think is the TOP version for dog fighting and the BF-109s still out do it. The P-51s suck. The Spitfires are better than the P-51s. But usa made the P-51 a certain way for? that reason, to go longer range which probably sacraficed other "STATS" for the plane.

Okay so pardon my ignorance, Freetrack is something like TrackIR only maybe better? Anyway, I can't wait to get this game. I just need Yuplay to unfreeze my? account so I can buy the thing. I didn't understand the card verification process and entered the wrong amount so they froze me. YOU LISTENING TO ME YUPLAY? Anyway, the only thing I'm not crazy about is the engine sounds. They sound pretty arcade like sometimes. But I can live with it...

Could you give? some steps to get in to work in wop. I've got freetrack working ok but wop seems to disregard it al the same. Maybe because I'm using a modded xbox controller to fly....who knows

Its even smoother now.I did not know a thing about electronics but read a lot on the freetrack forum and with help of my cousin I? did mine.I was told that the TrackIr track clip pro works with freetrack,you will just need a webcam,so check that out.Please rate the video so more people can see it.Thanks
