Natural hair is the best! Its so versatile. People automatically think afro but you can do way more with it than a? perm. and i honestly think that flat ironed natural hair looks way better than flat ironed permed hair. Natural hair is much thicker and healthier looking. love it!

Your? face expression smh,girl! This stylist was rude & rough! NEVER go to a "Wal-mart" or "Beauty College" to go natural. A salon that has been in business for year's and actually treats "NATURAL HAIR" should be your first bet! They can inform you on steps to take to maintain your NATURAL HAIR. If you ask a NATURAL SISTA what did their old stylist say when they wanted to go natural I bet it was nothing positive. HINT to any ladies wanting 2 go natural go to a real SALON with professionals.

I wash (and deep condition) blow dry and flat iron my hair once a week and ive been transitioning for 4 months now (and have about 2 inches of new growth).... I dont have a problem with the flat ironing...a lot of people say that its not healthy but i dont use any oils while flat? ironing (oils+heat=damage!) I use chi heat protectant spray and i have an ionic flat iron (cost me about $100) and my hair is fine...My new growth is healthy and curly...Hopefully it will remain this way for a while!

Some point at me, laugh, or just look shocked....? it can be really uncomfortable when you know so many people are looking at your hair. Carson and she could do my hair. I told her thanks.....but I live in New York, and I love my natural hair...and that I am not into relaxing, pressing, or putting a weaves in it. I had a moment earlier this evening where my (white) neighbor's daughter told me she liked my hair better when it was long, straight, and curly (micros). She also made a comment of how she dosen't get how people can leave the house with their hair "all over their head"? (this was a while back). Anywhoo....
