uh no mate, the line was at the end of the opening scene, where the team run a simulation in the danger room against sentinels, and even then it was cringeworthy. as for your supposed alternate ending where the entire movie was a simulation, that's complete bullshit and had that been screened? at any cinema, there would have been a riot

It would have been cheesy if he said it after really killing a bunch of evil mutants including his old love interest. But that line isn't in the official version, it's in an alternate version that was shown in some theaters and is on the dvd. In the alternate ending it's revealed that the entire happenings of the movie was really just a simulation to train the? students, in case they ever need to make an X men 4 and bring back half the people they killed off in X 3

"class dismissed" is being taken out of context, that was from the alternate ending where everything just ended up being a simulation to train the students. It's not like? wolverine really would have kicked a bunch of mutants asses and then kill jean/phoenix the lady he's got the hots for and goo "CLASS DISMISSED!!!!"
