We, the True Love Band, never had anyone "strong arming" anyone for money.? The point of the us playing in that area was to bring unity and peace to the community; Donation was optional. However, there were a lot of people in the area that were Homeless; Some were also from the rehabilitation center across the street. Perhaps it was one of them trying to manipulate you into giving them money; but, the concerts were free and we would never uphold such unprofessionalism.

This band was playing in a parking lot at Gratiot/Harper when I was walking by and stopped and listened for a minute or two. Some punk comes up to me and asks me for a quarter and when I tell him no he plays tough guy and says that I can't listen to the music for free and I have to give hime some money. I? told the little bastard to fuck off and I'm not giving him anything. I just thought it was ironic that they're called the True Love Band and they have a thug strong arming people to give money.
