I agree; the packaging looks fantastic? and is cool, but I'm keeping my discs in a different case because they're getting scratched while sliding them in and out. Great review, David! I don't have a Blu-ray player either, but I bought the Blu-ray version for the same reason you did: for the future (thankfully, I was able to watch the Blu-ray at a friend's house yesterday. It was awesome! I got to watch it in my friend's movie room with a 10-foot TV and 7.1 surround sound. =)

i have the same combo pack!! and i don't like how the discs are? put. My digital copy is all full of scratches scinece the first day i bought it!!! by standard dvd has another scratch and thanks to God the blu-ray is shiny!!!! i put all the 3 discs on a regular Blu-ray case so that they don't get scratched anymore!!! I love the chronicles of Narnia books and movies!!! the pack is beautifull but not to put the dvds in it!!!!!! take good care of the dvds!!! Narnia is really special!!!!! =)

Yes, but i was merely stated Tilda Swinton is not to old to be used again. In the other version both the White Witch an Lady of the Green were played by the same actress so it isn't impossible. Tilda is an amazing actress, easily the most talented actor in the series.. So i'd be disappointed if she didn't return. They already said? Magicians Nephew would be next in the series not The Silver Chair so i'm satisfied.

I have actually seen the movie 2 time, one? at midnight and again the same day with friends. I want to see it at least 3 more times! Though it is way different from the book it definitely has a story of its own that is really good! I really like the way that a lot of it was interpreted visually! The Magicians Nephew takes place circa. 1900- in 1901 Victorian England became Edwardian England so it's only JUST Victorian times... I? almost want magicians nephew more to be made into a movie just because I really like the idea of them interpreting Victoria era England and the beginning of Narnia. BUT, They completely left the movie off with expectations! well, at least for people who read the books! Jill pole and Aslan telling Eustace he is coming back? They better do a connection of the green smoke to the lady of the green kirtle, other wise that would be a giant plot hole. It really did not make sense much in VOTD.

I miss him soo much. The characters had more depht, the sets had more "magic", the shots were soo beautiful and we could feel he worked a lot with CGI because the CG and? the live action were woking perfectly together espacially in Prince Caspian. I also miss Harry Gregson-Williams and his great scores but also Sim Evan-Jones and his awesome and original editing.

the song is good, but what does it have to do with the movie? 'Lucy' falls in love with... 'narnia?' 'Aslan?' 'the Journey?' seriously take away the the narnia visuals and what do you have, a love song, and a rather generic one at that, without much unique substance... at least 'there's a place for us' echoes the themes of the book. looking for another place a better place, a better 'kingdom.' "where the water meets the? sky...'

I have to say that the Sonohra version is the best followed by a tie between Victoria S and this one (though I think? Victoria S had a stronger voice and was maybe a little bitter), Carrie underwood's is oky but I think she could have done better...she is a good singer but she jsut didnt pull through on this one
