this could also apply to any class? really, shame the koreans/jp's have not showed us any other DD pk vids. I'm sure every class can solo equally as good as one another. Priests/Mystics however is a different story, but they each have decent dps considering they can heal aswell. Gosh I really can't wait for CBT3. Wars about to get interesting xD

@layesse1 Gear in Aion did and still does matter but it's very class dependent. Problem with Aion is that Class > Gear > skill in that ranged classes were cleary favoured and could nuke you all day without even looking at you. Flight combat was heavily touted in the beginning, but with the updates you can visually see it being phased out because of imbalance. Back on topic: The warrior isn't even a dps class (yet for EU) but look? how well it can perform against the rest with gear AND skill.

w/l/d stats for anything pvp related (1v1,? XvX bgs, duels, deathmatches, GvG, OWpk) is good enough to keep players wanting to participate, as long as there's a very descriptive ranking chart of course. With OWpk it'll be hard to add a scoreboard to it because pk'ers shouldn't be rewarded for how many they've killed (but could be added), but for how long they can remain in pk status, for each infamy lvl. But I certainly do agree with you on the owpk part! too bad casuals..

Another point I forgot to make, there is SOOOOO much space to pvp in. If this was? aion, you would have a mob train after fighting the first person, and because don't hit you regardless of range, you can actually dodge them while hitting your pvp foe. Really liking some of the developer design choices in this game.

Surprising, really enjoyed that vid although not sure about the choice of music. The people you fought were mostly 27 (same as yourself) with only 1 being 26 so good job. Think the ones that you destroyed quickly were too predictable in their escape patterns so you were able to catch them very easily while the warrior that survived was using? their dodges well and not running around you in one continuous arc.

Well, you can already get 100+ attack from victory mantra, rage spell and WoI combined it's better to socket something else. Before I thought slotting attack is pointless, but chanters have to weave for better dps, the extra attack would help, but with attack you have to hard stack? meaning you need to stack alot of slot for it.

Oh no dont get me wrong, I don't normally pvp in gelk. These clips are players who were ganking me whilst I was farming medals. Being near fort is just how it is. Quest mobs are near forts, not? my problem if players in the vicinity have chat logs going berserk. And the clip with 2 sorcs + Jestian, well would you still fight knowing you had absolutely no chance of winning? Before you bash someone learn to know the context first. What person would that make you then? A cockhead?

I didn't let that sorc die, well i coulda rs him but the glad and chanter came anyways. Plus that asmo? sorc pulled that leowasp so it was game over for him from then on. I panic cuz i just came back from holiday, using new keybinds and getting used to new skills/gameplay. I couldn't care about what define having good "attitude" in your eyes. It's not about classes or skills, it's about attitude. 1:20 with letting that sorc die? and desperately trying to run in panic (+adding all mobs) and 11:00 with running away from 1on1 straight to vorgaltem just to kill him afterwards in 3on1. Damn? you've alot of questions xD. Woi? If you havent got high crit resist and don't like the final dps stigma Woi is a decent damage booster for your skills because it increases both attack (your physical skills) and MBoost (your godstone). But I'd recommend Hit Mantra if you ever get full+15 gear (and eternal ap jewels that also give crit res). I'm sitting on 275 Cr, 290 if I had daily wings, and if full eternal ap jewels then you can bet getting over 400 Cr. Not to mention the crit spell :D

hmm it's really hard question. If it were me, I'd put damage on sw and maybe an immobolise or run slow gs on the lannok. This setup basically lets you kite with triro/lannok, hoping for gs proc (immob is more effective but low %) then weave in-out with sw staff. But all depends on lannok/triro proc.Then manastones would need to be considered? also. Maybe 30/10 HP/Crit? 30/10 Mr/Crit or go crazy and do 20/20 HP/MBoost. Although imo Mr/Crit would be better for 2.5.

Yes if you have 2k+ resist with silence gs. Our chances of winning will significantly go up if we have the element of suprise. After that it's fingers crossed for resists? and silence proc. If a good sm has pre-emptive he will debuff your mr and perma dot/fear you, if a good sorc has pre-empt they will switch to macc set and nuke you. One thing is certain tho and that fights with sm's/sorcs are alot faster than this ^^ they can kill us fast and we can also if we use 2kBoWoW.

Trying out a custom render this time. I've used a custom 1680x1050 template to match the clip's original res, i felt what I did with the last uploads by expanding the screen size to accomodate 1920x1080 hd rendering gimped the details. Hopefully this time it turns out ok!!

A cowardice Temp running to guards. And he was only rank 6! I must thank him for that though, it was an exhilirating fight adding the guards into the mix.
But given in this particular situation he had the opportunity to test his mettle, but failed.

lolololol if u want to play like a pro, u have to play a chanter for pvp.. im palying a chanter too and even if i dont have the best pvp gear, i can go solo-pvp and kill some of my enemies.. if u wanna play easygoing pvp use sorcerer,spirit master, assasin or gladi, templer how ever? all classes are better to play for noobs than a chanter in pvp...

Sure SW has better stats, but to any chanter who has played with extendable, they would never change that for PvP, ever. Crit/Attack chanters are easy, they still have low acc and the noobs tend to forget to use Major crit scroll against me so I parry enough to actualy dish? out mroe dps than them xD. And mate chanters that sockets attack is completely idiotic when 100 (20 slots) attack is only a 8% increase.. 20 slots? Hell no!! I much rather slot 20x25MB haha, that's like 500 (40%)

Well lol fight a chanter with fully crit and attack built...see how hard they hit with blessing of wind....LOL they can hit pretty hard...for Aion stats is all broken... Crit resist...meh....its all about luck in aion..kd/stun/get away.... those stuff...also SW plus 10 combine with a 50 pvp staff = deadly...better than lannok extend for its got better dps...270 compared to 320..thats a big different if both plus 10... btw just saying...I chanter class sucks at? pvp..everyone agreed

Maybe it doesn't do anything? cuz you have low crit resit. I get enough parry procs and crit mitigation with my setup 2.5k parry w/ 265 crit resist.. And SW staff isn't PvP staff lol.. I slot 10 crit stones and that get's me to 590+, which if you take away +10 geared players resist (160) that leaves me almost cap crit against them..Which is enough. And for any chanter who slotted attack is a complete retard. oh yea fyi, this vid is waaaay before 2.0 didn't have a parry setup then :)

Parry doesnt do anything lol....for I'm fully parry 2800+ and its like...1 parry out of 20 hits ...so theres no point. Also you lost? to much crit and attack if your fully parry built. Thats why I quit aion...after I got my SW staff.. lol
