yes they can, its not? about tobacco laws. teachers can make you stop doing something simply on the basis that it is distracting to the class, school principals can also ban certain objects from the school grounds, a decision which only the school board can overturn. which is not likely given peoples non-understanding of electronic cigarettes.

Since it's a highschool they can tell you to stop using anything, though when you get to college they legally can't tell you to not? use e-ciggaretes, because they don't go against tobacco laws.

I a senior at a high school. I am? graduating this year, and I am also 18 years old. Am I legally aloud to smoke on school property? The teachers say no, but I think they don't realize what an e-cig is.
