Great story Chris. I think it's a very common one. A lot like mine. Luckily I skipped the heart attack part, but otherwise I sympathize completely. I love my e-cig and my kids love that I'm not smoking anymore. I live in the U.S. so I worry that one crazy person will take a case to the Supreme Court? and get them banned here soon. Really didn't want to, but the cough was getting ridiculous and I? came across the e-cigs and worked right away. Thanks Chris. I stumbled across some cheap chinese e-cigs at first but they did the job of cutting me down from a 30 day smoker. I do confess to the occasional one bu tI'm happy with that. My wife has pluminary fibrosis which is a killer despite having never smoked, one whif of a real cigi near her and she has terible coughing fits, a transplant is out of the question because of her age. I? can now vape in her presence without it effecting her. So she's happy now as well .Remember Victor Kiam?

Absolutely one of the best e-cig testimonials that I've ever watched. My fiance and I both recently made the switch to e-cigs and it's been a great experience for both of us. I haven't had a real cigarette since we got our first e-cig kit, and she's down? to maybe one a day now, and even said those smell and taste horrible. I hope more people make the switch. I've lost several family members to smoking related illness, and at one point I was an extremely heavy user of tobacco myself.

Fair one igetya...I've done a bit more reading over on ecf with regards and I now understand the issues with the mhra being the regulating authority. And I am comforted to learn regulation does happen via local trading standards. Still the eliquid should meet pharmasutical grade quality, and as a consumer I would prefer seeing some sort of approved pharma grade logo at least alongsideif not instead of the poison symbol on my eliquid bottle. I'd hate to be reduced to a vaping? world of mini ecigs

hi mate, regulation does sound good on paper, but the sharp reality of the situation is that regulation will mean only granting licences to one or 2 companies and those companies will only be allowed to sell rubbish like a super mini style e-cig with pre filled carts in low nicotine strengths......and if regulation comes you can? pretty much forget about ever buying bottles of e-liquid, that much is for certain :( that info is not my own, but from the campaigners cheers scott

I agree totally with the regulation. I also appreciate that the costs involved for traders to prove thier products would, by necessity be passed on to consumers. I for one however dont mind paying more for a product i believe to be safe. I expect all products i consume to meet some? sort of specific guidelines for hygene, health and safety.

- True, but at least you could be assured of what's actually in the fluid and be able to hold those few suppliers accountable. Currently you can't very easily, with fluids being made all over the shop and pardon me (the chemist in me) but i know damn well some of the suppliers in the uk knock up this fluid in their own kitchens, one of them i wouldn't trust to wipe his arse,? let alone make sure the fluids are stable.

this vid was to help prevent a ban ;) regulation sounds good at 1st, but when you realise what it would entail a different picture appears......it would mean that suppliers would need a license and testing costing thousands upon thousands of pounds each which would inevitably put the vast majority of suppliers out of business. it will end up being just 1 or 2 approved? products that would only be available in set mg strength carts......so, a bit pants really ;) scott

I guess it's a good alternative to cold turkey just as long as we're not trying to replace the habit with another. Sooner or later we have to be willing to quit the nicotene cold turkey. When I tried quitting, cutting down was? like teasing myself. It just didn't work. I just went cold turkey and started acting like a healthier non smoker. I also changed everything that I did on a daily basis and eliminated any triggers that would set off my addiction.

I've tried? to quit smoking cold turkey many times over the passed two years then I recently discovered the e-cigarette. I've switched exclusively now for one week and I'm already totally convinced I'll never smoke an anolog cigarette again. Although they are not advertised as a stop smoking treatment it clear that they are benificial as such and much healthiercfor you. Everything I had tried to quit smoking didn't work, why would these be different? I have to say e-cigs work. I have been a pack a day smoker for 20 years and I tried a e-cig 4 months ago. I have not had a single normal cigarette since then. My sense of smell and taste is back and for about a week I coughed up all the junk in my lungs. I can breathe better and I feel? way better. So great to see these getting some positive press! But one thing I'd like to point out - you can buy e-liquid for e-cigs that has NO nicotine. And they also sell different strengths of nicotine so you can taper down. So eventually, you can taper down to no-nicotine e-liquid, which is just flavoring and vapor. That helps with the habitual side of smoking without having? to go back to nicotine.

I got an ego and i upgraded to the tank system. If? u vape alot then the tank is defiantely worth the purchase. There are 2 tanks, a normal and a large. I got the large but if u upgrade to the tank system u will have to get a larger atomizer. My tank system came with a larger one so i believe its a package deal with the tank system :)

To anyone having that really bad taste with anything bigger than the 510, when u first get it, all you have to do is turn the atomizer around and blow it out. Hold a tissue or paper towel under it and u will see the lube that the factory puts in it. After there is no more liquid coming out, put it on the battery? and ur good to go ;)

@chesterrrr This depends alot on how deeply you inhale the ecig, how often you? vape, and your nicotine mg ejuice The easiest thing I can say is that (depending on you country's current manual ciggie price) it's very cheap. Here in the U.S. I pay about $7 for 15ml @24mg and that will last me a week and I vape several times per hour. And I smoked ultra lights at US$5/pack at 2 per day. Hope that helps!

Just get the Joye 510 cartridges and atomizers, they are 100% compatible. That's probably why you can't find eGO parts on? the site. Yes atomizers will need to be replaced every so often, it really depends on how much you vape and how well you take care of the unit. The atomizers shouldn't be a permanent attachment. Hope that helps :)

It does indeed sound like you ae using a China Made eLiquid as you mentioned RY4. This is a very common tobacco flavor and what you are feeling is dead on. Many low cost and especially China eLiquids do use pepper to mimic the feeling of a throat sensation. Stick toeLiquids that you? know what they are placing in them as it will be listed on the side of the bottle. I also urge you to check out ECF forums as this can help on your questions.

Prescription? They are already labeled to sell 18+ only "must be an adult" etc.. Now if a minor lies and claims to be 18, or purchases from a local store which does not check an ID (like I see so much with REAL cigarettes) then it should really be something that the store needs to take responsibility for. I am? in no way going to goto a doctor to get a prescription to smoke. I agree it should not be sold to minors regardless, but lets be serious.

I agree that e-cigarettes, e-cigars, e-pipes etc should NOT be banned federally, I am a strong believer myself that it is people's own business what they choose to put in their own body so long as they are harming no one else in the process. E-cigarettes contain nicotine and are addictive (maybe not as addictive as regular cigarettes that have additives & chemicals) e-cigarettes? probably can also cause heart disease in long term/heavy use. what I really think is that they're more concerned that? children could pickup an addiction due to nicotine. What I would suggest is that they ban the selling to minors(which I seem to remember is the case) and that they only sell nicotine contained e juice to people who properly need it(like ACTUAL smokers). Suggestively require a prescription from a doctor or something...

If they try to target this based on flavor, citing that it entices children into smoking. A reasonable defense could be the sale of flavored alcoholic beverages, e.g. honey flavored "Drambuie", peppermint flavored "Rumple Minze", apple flavored "Applejack" and? a host of other supposed "child enticing" flavors. Providing these Vaperite bottles are labelled correctly, designed responsibly (inhibiting young children from opening them), and sold legally (adults only), there should be no problem.

They tried sneaking one through here just a month ago. Tried passing a bill that would make selling e-cigs to minors illegal, I'm all for that... fine with that. But they had a few amendments attached to the bill, the very last one was added to make e-cigs illegal across the board in TN. After thousands of calls and emails to our lawmakers, we finally got that last? amendment struck off of the bill. Just because the FDA says one thing, states can still pass their own idiotic laws. Keep fighting.

Thanks for all you do Shawn! I have used your products since December. I'm a non-smoker after 35 years. I was up to 2-1/2 to 3 packs a day. I now breathe better, have better sense of smell, and a cleaner environment thanks to electronic cigarettes. Hopefully the government won't succumb to big tobacco lobby. It would be nice if our congressmen thought of the people instead of their pockets for? a change!

What I have done is started buying e-juice liquid from other sources and I refill the cartridges that I used already from green smoke. The atomizer seems to be ok for a while doing this but they do eventually burn out. Once in a while I? still order the chocolate cartridges because they work well with refilling them with the flavors I like.

Yes they did have a problem with the cartridges because they were attempting tom switch to an American distributor I believe. But at least they fixed the situation and handled their customers problems unlike a lot of company's. It took me 3 times contacting smoke51 for them to stop billing and sending me cartridges not to mention my free trial was billed to me in full before ever even getting the kit. I'm used to smoking about a pack a day sometimes a few less and every cartridge I have used except 2 have worked all day. I usually replace them every day? and start a fresh cartridge and it works for me. The 2 other started tasting bad about half way through the day and I knew they must not of filled it completely or something. I have had good ones for the most part though. The Chocolate ones I got with 0mg nicotine just to try last a lot longer it seems.
