Although Carson's first year on the Tonight Show was 1962, that? clip looks more like 1969 or 1970, judging from the clothing and hair styles, plus the guest list of Rowan and Martin, which is likely related to Rowan and Martin's "Laugh In" show from that time frame. "Laugh In" aired from 1968-73.

As for? the Beverly Hillbillies intro, the RTV network has a version that just shows the starring cast driving through Beverly Hills with different music. And no matter who the supporting and guest actors are in the episodes, the ending credits are the same ("...BEA BENADERET as Cousin Pearl...Airline Hostess GLORIA MARSHALL," though they may not appear in the episodes), also with different music. The RTV network has messed up a classic!!

Vic Damone and Bobby Darin on Andy Williams... that takes a lot of courage for a singer like Williams to put? two such top level singers on his show. Johnny Carson wasn't from 1962... Ronald Reagan did not become Governor until January 1967. Also Johnny didn't have that much gray hair in 1962 and Doc wasnt the band leader until 1967...the show was regularly broadcast from New York in 1962 also.
