Homemade .22 Pistol

This is my homemade .22 pistol that I built myself. It fires Remington .22 blank rounds designed for nail guns, however they work just as well as commercial .22 rounds. The gun is a single shot open bolt design, and was built in a week with $10 worth of spare metal.

Very creative! I have to ask the same question someone else asked, don't you need registration and a Class III fire arm license/permit for ANY gun (rifle or pistol) that fires from the "open? breech/bolt" position? I'm in the USA, and I believe that is correct here, don't know about other countries. thanks so much

I've heard you'll need a DS/DSi system the DSTWO will? work on at its current state in order to update it for it to work on newer DSi/3DS firmware versions. I won't risk it, however, since when I tried updating my DSTTi that way, it just got bricked or something. I exchanged it, and now that I have a DSTWO, It works on my second DSi, so now I'm happy. :D

No such thing yet, sorry. Do you know when the first DS flashcart (R4) came out? How long after the DS's release? I got my DSTWO yesterday from someone on Kijiji.ca in original box with SD and USB adaptor as well as a fully loaded 4 GB Class 10 Micro SD for only $25, and already have 39 GBA ROMs on it, including ALL Sonic, Mario, Kirby, Pokemon,? and Zelda games, plus a few others. It's really pwns! I'm using my 16 GB Class 10 Micro SD from my DSTTi btw. :D

Thanks for the awesome video!! Helped me fix the sink. Few helpful hints i wanted to add. 1. If the cartridge is stuck, just use the plastic twisting cap? provided by moen and twist the stuck cartridge until it freely rotates, pull out and reapply the twist test if it gets stuck again. 2. Although the nut that holds the faucet in place does not have to be airtight as it plays no role in leaking water, it still needs to be tightened in order for the handle to function properly Thanks for the

Take the o-ring off the bottom and flex it to look for cracks/cuts in it. Then put it back on, checking that the o-ring is down in the groove and that the area it seats against on the inside of the spout is not sharp or corroded. Make sure the spout is all the way down and? the nut up top is tight...

Well, I understand what happened to my spout, now. This spout had a diverter valve in it, actually mounted in the spout, as part of the? spout. I little rubber cup-shaped washer gave up the ghost, and the plunger in the middle was flushed 3/4 of the way down the spout, where it lodged, blocking the water flow. I managed to dislodge it, but in getting it out of the spout I've mangled the plastic seat. If there's a way to replace the diverter valve in this spout, it's not obvious. Any ideas?

This is weird. My faucet's spout doesn't pass water! It is a different style from yours. It is chrome on the top? and sides, but black plastic on the bottom surface. I can't blow air through it, in either direction. I even tried to blow it out (backward flow direction) with my air compressor, without success. I ran a wire up it in each direction, and the wire is blocked about 2" from the aerator end. Is there some sort of valve in there? Do you have any idea what happened to it?

Your videos are wonderful! But I have a question: What about the "diverter valve?" Where is it, and how is it fixed or replaced? I've read that it might? be causing my problem. My faucet looks just like yours. It suddenly stopped working: water comes out the sprayer, but not the faucet. Same is true when aerator is removed. I removed the faucet handle & spout, and out fell the remains of a little black rubber cup-shaped washer. I don't know where it came from, nor whether it's the culprit.

Check if you got the loop (attached to the lever on the handle assembly) back into the? groove on the top of the spout retaining nut when you put it back together. Also make sure the spout is all the way down and the retaining nut is down all the way. If there is crud in the threads it may seem tight but not really be down all the way.

to anyone who has done this: I replaced the cartridge and reinstalled all the hardware. When I turned the water back on, the water would not shut off all the way. There was a tiny stream of water, not? a drip. It seemed like the handle part didn't sit all the way down on the faucet and thus wouldn't push the piston all the way back down in the cartridge. If I loosen the nut on top, I can shut the water off by pushing that down. Does anyone have any advice on fixing that?

I have been reviewing some of your videos and? just realized that by using the CDS and Gypsy I have missed using alot of the features that the Cricut Expression Machine has to offer! Thank you for showing all of the neat stuff the machine alone can do. By the way, I just found ot that you cannot access Gypsy Font or Wanderings from CDS even if you own the Gypsy. Love the videos! Quick tip-- you were having trouble finding the letters- don't know if you know this or not, but with the font cartridges- the overlays are set up in QWERTY style. That means like? a standard keyboard, where the first 5 letters starting from the left are Q-W-E-R-T and then Y. So if you know the keyboard layout, it's easy (easier) to find the letters. Hope that helps someone! Thanks again for all the videos- I'm learning lots of new things!

Furthermore, I'll bet that those cases with bulges cannot fully? reenter the chamber they were fired in, with the bulge in any orientation to the feed throat. That is because the casing wasn't in the chamber when the bulge was produced.

Browning's "Hi-Power" Tilting Barrel System was designed around the 9mm Luger Cartridge. If Browning had thought he could make that machine any smaller or lighter, I'm sure he would have. The "Hi-Power" was not offered in .45ACP, because Browning himself thought that that much cartridge intensity, exceeded the inherent capacity of the design. Those bulges are the result of an unsupported case head, that is unsupported because? the breech has unlocked too early.

I hear a lot of hype about the chambers in glocks. Have you had any issues shooting reloads in any of your glocks (any caliber)? Is a fully supported chamber all that necessary? Could you show the differences between? fully supported and non full supported chambers?

Lee also makes a $15 bulge buster tool...if you scrounge glock once fired from police ranges ect and want to de-bulge it before use in a non-glock firearm...some folks use it every other reload on their glock reloads...some all the time. I mostly load rifle and .45 so I? havent used it yet myself

, well, I have one with the old barrel, too. Even though I replaced the barrel in my G23, it was mainly because I ran into some new barrels in a? gun shop. I still shoot the old barrel in my old G27. I fired many, many thousands of handloads in an old G23 during the 90 without any problems. The difference between the new barrels and old ones is very small. You can see the difference if you set them sidy by side with a round in the chamber, but it's a minor difference.

Glocks have unsupported chambers. they tend to bulge cases similar to how when you hold onto a balloon and try to inflate it, it conforms to the shape of your hand. But if? you let it go, it would expand outward

.40 must not be shot much in my area. It is so abundant where I am? that seriously NO one must shoot this stuff. It will sit on the shelf in walmart for WEEKS. Its not even worth reloading .40 any more here. If you need it, its there just pick it up when needed.

Micheal Platt would have been effectively stopped and 2 agents would have not lost their life. Therefore bonded ammo isnt just meant for windshields. There is a growing concept of "over penetration" and it is a good theory but you must research and find your own way. As for me I carry a mix of regular JHP and Bonded ammo. 1? bonded, 1 jhp, 1 bonded, 1 jhp until the clip is filled.

bonded ammo is a thoroughly researched and proven concept. Many of us do not think we would need bonded ammo as it is meant to pass? through quite a few different pieces of media and still have reasonable terminal performance on the intended target. When you look at the "Miami firefight" you will see that the media was his arm and chest cavity. Bonded ammo has an entirely different agenda. I was not surprised by what happened in this video. This ammo was born by a specific incident called "the Miami firefight". This round is meant to pass through a subjects hand, arm, penetrate the chest cavity and cause enough damage to stop the subject.? Although the "Miami firefight" was not the sole reason for this ammo as there was also other firefights that took place before the FBI began to research ammunition.

I seen the author of this video and many comments state that they are disappointed in this specific ammunition yet none of you took the time to research it or figure out why the FBI has adopted it. Bonded ammo was born from research after the FBI began to take note of poor ballistic performance of rounds in actual firefights. It is sad that tnoutdoors9 did a single shot with this. This leads people like kfc903 (below) to think that this ammo will perform like this all the time and that is simply not true. You need to do more shots in the event the hollow point plugs. Or use different front media other than denim at the very least. No one in the real world will be shooting someone through denim. It will be cotton t-shirts in the summon, or heavy coats in the winter depending? where you live. Do over!
