So I decided to do a little experiment and go 30 days without shaving my chest to show how hairy I can really get. Plus I thought it would be cool to make a time lapse video of my hair growing (I don't know where I come up with these ideas).

its called chromium oxide. they sell it in bars pretty cheap. you rub it onto an untreated piece of leather. it makes for a verryyy sharp edge when youre finished. usually people use it for their wood carving tools or if you're a knife enthusiast like the man in this video seems to be...? you can do it on your normal folding or fixed blades to maintain a razors edge.

I have no experience with the fatboy razor, but is there a diffrence between these razors? the obvous difference is size, the Futur is much bigger than the Progress. Lots of people love the Futur but its a bit too big for me. The? Progress bows the blade quite dramatically, while the Futur tends to hold the blade fairly flat.

The test is made of? 2 parts; written and practical. I have most of the practical operations, but the written could be learned from the Milady's Standard Cosmetology Textbook. Watch the videos, but also ask the kit companies if they have quick training or tutoring available. I used to train foreign students with one of the kit companies. My best advice is to go to beauty school, and attend at least the freshman portion of the course. But you got the test date, so good luck!

No, just that particular shirt. I've found that if you have a dress shirt,? send it through the washing machine a couple of times, then it'll survive. Thanks to you I was able to calibrate my new Merkur Long-Handle Progress. The procedure in this video was simple to do and now I have what, for me, is an adjustable razor that is more in line with its numerical scale. I like this razor so much that I am thinking? of picking up a short-handle model too--this is simply the best razor I've ever used; and far more comfortable than my Feather stainless steel, Jagger, and other Merkur razors. Thank you again for a well-presented and informative video.

I enjoy your informative videos. And I can relate to? your 1950s' inserts--takes me to my childhood. I've tried many razors, including Feather's, which wasn't sufficiently aggressive for me. Same with Merkur's std. razors. I prefer Jagger's razors' blade angle. However, the Progress intrigues me. In your findings, would you say the blade angle changes as the settings are increased, or is it solely the spacing between the blade and the comb? Thank you the entertaining and informative videos.

I still find the adjustables more aesthetically pleasing, but this rather hefty tool seems to do the job better. About the angle: I don't think the slighty different angle is a real problem, because you hear the whiskers jump over the blade during shaving. If you're used to DE-shaving, you'll get the right angle really quick, imo. Overall, this seems to be a razor you get accustomed? to really quick. Is the Progress still your favorite razor, or have you moved on?

Thanks for your? advice.It worked out fine so far. My razor isn't exactly zeroed in. The lowest setting is right between + and 1, and I'm not able to zero it in, like you suggested. A setting just below 2 worked fine for me. I think it was a surprisingly good shave. The slightly slippery handle wasn't a problem. Finish seems to be quite well, so I think it's worth the money.

Great video... BUT... I have one important? thing to say.... 1962 Gilllette Slim... none of these problems... shaves like a dream... I'm in love. Get yours! =). Merkur is a good shave =). Gillette is a great shave!
