Hey old school lovers, maybe can help me.. I remember a breakdance song, maybe from another Breakin' film o f that years - but maybe? not - whit a beat very similar to Heart of the Beat. In particular the bass line was similar..The base of that song was sometimes played at jams, only instrumental, no voice, creating a long beat to dance. I had it in a mixtape (really on tape!) but now I can't find it, or maybe I'm wrong..anyone understands from my confused description? Thanks!

actually, a very good question! There's basically enough friction in? the wood and (poor) alignment between the wood and the hubs that the bolts held in place. Once the heads started to grab into the epoxy on the hubs, there was enough friction to tighten them. I think there were only 2 that spun and I just used some vice grips to hold the heads. ;-)

This probably a dumb question but...how did you securely tighten the nuts? on the hub bolts since you lathed off the square portion of the bolt that would normally keep it from turning?

It was based on minimizing the scraps from the polycarb panels since they are the most expensive component. These panels are 6' wide, so with a 3v, 32.5 foot dome, the maximum triangle size from tip to base was just shy of 6'. If you go up to a 4V, I'm sure you could do a? much larger building!

I think the short term expense will be offset by the long term gain. When you are experimenting there is a need to be fearless for sure. ? Failure is always a step forward. A larger dome would have been nice but then you would have possibly had to have used 2x6 instead of 2x4 and made your hubs beefier. We use a double hub system for 33' - 51'. Then again going to a 4V would have shortened your struts and increased the number of hubs & struts. Gain or loss? email me direct @ yogabill2 gmail

You're welcome to drop by any time! FYI: Even though the shed has a smaller foot print, it cost more and took longer to build than the dome! I should have either built a larger dome? and gone up to a 4V, or did a second northern dome and covered it like a shed. ;-)

Just? went back and watched you manufacture each hub. I have been installing geo domes for 5 years and really like your ideas about beveling the struts for the glazing. I also like that you have built a shed on the north side to help insulate the dome and avoid the purchase of the north side poly panels. for a 3V dome, it has 15 sides so I just averaged 360 degrees divided by 15, which is 24 degrees at each angle. If you look at each area, the angles will change a bit but there's enough flex in the steel and wood where a degree plus or minus doesn't make a difference. ? I ignored all the thickness and based all the calculations on the outer "skin".

I'm experimenting with the Russian website and I'm not sure what the section is that's labeled: "Material of edges (bar) Width, mm ____ Thickness, mm ____" Also, how? did you calculate the angles of the straps welded onto the 3" steel pipe sections? (If you can't tell me I might have to do some thinking and that would hurt my head).

I use 14 vents in the kneewall for 360 degree low level intake including the door. To maximise the chimney effect use the entire top pentagon for the high level vent. Reinforce the pentagon and the opening,? hinge it on one side and use hydraulic rams to open it. Don`t forget to install safety chains in case it ever gets loose.

hi man, you totally inspired me to make i geo dome with aqua ponics. i watched your vids lots of times and other and did research. so now ive got my own 2v dome raised on 250mm stilts under base hubs, 4.3m dia.i got 100 silver perch fingerlings in ther and a few others ( trout, cod muscles and 100 shrimp) and 5 commets. struts are losp (organicly treated pine) 105mm washers as hubs (2? per hub) and covered in builders plastic. triangular door. LED down lights and 12V dc backup pump. video soon

You are a lifesaver! I was scared to death to change my plugs on my 05 F150 5.4L w/120K miles. Watched your video and tackled the task. Ran the engine to operating temp, let it cool down, filled the plug wells with AreoKroil, let it sit for 30 min., removed them with? the impact. Who would have ever thought that the impact was the trick. I did not break one plug. I had to remove the plug on the passenger-side firewall by hand. Sounded like nails on a chalk board. As a tech myself, I would never? believed this was the solution! Good job! Folks, and saturday mechanics, its the actual plug design that causes them to break in the head. Champion makes a once piece unit that I highly recommend. If all your plugs come out this well on the triton 3 valve, treat yourself and buy a lotto card for every cylinder.

I got it, what I did was jack the truck up take off the passenger tire. There was a plastic / rubber cover I could take out and was able to reach the back plug. If someone out there is like me short and fat you? about have to do this other wise you just can not reach it.

Thanks? for the video. My truck has been rocking and coughing for 6 months. My husband and I found this video and followed it as best as we could with a 2005 Ford Expedition in a house garage. Those two back plugs are almost impossible to get to unless you unplug and move EVERYTHING! Driver side back plug broke in the 3 pieces. We had the lisle tool and was able to get it out. Even though it was an all Saturday thing, it was well worth it compared to the dealer price! We bonded under the hood.

Srmaster tech, I am located in your area. I just purchased an 04 F150 with? the 5.4L 3V and it has the sound of the cam phasers being bad. The sound is at idle, if you get the RPM's up past 1200-1500 the sound goes away. The valve tool compresses the valve spring to remove the cam follower. The will keep the cam from rotating once disconnected from the gear. The block is a wedge that inserts between the timing chain.? This is to keep tension against the chain tensioner and holding the chain in place. If you don't have the tools, I would do this job by removing the front engine cover to access the entire timing chains and tensioners.

Even using the special tool by Ford and soaking, the plugs still broke, but with the special removal tool it only took my mechanic 20 minutes max to remove the plug completely. Pat Goss (motorweek and other shows is my shop). Thanks for responding I was just curious what your experience has been. The engine has been very quiet since they finished. I also use BG 44k and? BGMOA, so hopefully I can keep the truck a while. Any comment on BG products?

You should have watched my video for plug removal. Cam Phasers will only make noise below 1300 RPM. If your raise the idle, and the noise goes away, it's the phaser. Timing chain tensioners can also make a rattle, but normally just on start up. Lifters have also been know to make some ticking noise. I have even seen? valves stick in the guides just enough to cause a tapping noise. Listening with a stethoscope helps isolate the location and source.

Well depend what you're farming. Act 1 I'd say? use that polearm for sure, you should be able to survive. Act 2 however I'd drop the polearm to either dual wield for the 15% dodge or shield for the armor.

The factory edge of 3V Bravo1 was definitely sharper than my stropped edge of A2 Bravo1. I haven't stropped my 3V Bravo1 yet for the edge endurance test. But it stays sharp awesomely so far. Sharpness itself and edge retention on 3V seem pretty different from those of A2. If it takes stropping as easily as A2, I will need to change my steel to 3V from now. By the way I quit using this crappy sheath after having heard they quit shipping it with the knife. Thanks.?

I think youll find out once you get your high power rifle that alot? of the deer will fall right when you shoot them because of the shock to their nervous system and will bleed out before they become conscious. Most people think deer die instantly when shot, but they do not unless its a good head shot or the spine is destroyed. Like you said, even a perfect heart shot, the deer can still run for over 100 yards before expiring

Ahh, I dont like to see hunting, but I have seen what goes on in slaughter houses. I eat cow , so I support hellish suffering everyday. I watch the slaughtering of a lot of living things. It keeps me grounded and helps me cope with living as a filthy human. I hope animals will conquer the earth again. If there was no hunting then wild animals will suffer more greatly while starving. Have? you ever seen a starving bear? I hope hunters would worship nature and animals.

The 3V Bravo1 is still awesomely sharp and no need to resharpen at all. When time comes, I mean when the? edge endurance test is finished, it will go clear if it is hard to sharpen or not. If it is very hard to sharpen like ZDP-189, I will not like it as I don't like the ZDP. Thanks.

No. I still had 5 rounds. But I didn't feel any necessity to give it one more shot as a deer hunter who have ever killed 400 deer. Actually it stopped moving soon after the video was taken. Trust me that that kind of final movement often happens and stops soon.? It had no consciousness nor fear then. Thanks.

Dear Wako, Most people who comment on hunting being cruel are either hypocrites or Vegans. In both cases they are idiots. Hypocrites are those that say hunting is cruel but then shovel steaks into their mouths ignoring the? fact that they let other people do their dirty work in killing the animals they eat. Vegans take the moral high ground that killing is wrong but ignore the fact that animals are killed when farmers harvest the vegetables they eat. Keep on making videos mate!
