doc im? from india and rite now there aren many gr8 ecig brands around. my first order left me with a device that profusely leaked even on the lightest of drags. i kno nicotine is poisonous in large amounts. when i had a closer look at the cartridge i noticed that it was a plastic container holdin the liquid. thats it - no wick no wool. any advice u could give me? should i consider a new set of cartridges or any mods i could pull off from home??

So by any chance do you know? if the "E-liquids" used in electronic cigarettes are water based? I mean an E-Cig is a mini vaporizer... right? How would it turn the liquid into smoke....without heating up the oil...

From what I understand, it may have been caused by Diacetyl. I read further and it is widely used to make certain alcoholic beverages slippery? or buttery flavored in quality. It lacks a fatty acid or isoprene structure that is common with lipids. But like I said, my knowledge is a bit limited.

That is a possibility. The current thought is to stay away from oil based flavorings which may not sit well in the lungs. ? Water based flavorings should not cause harm as they are absorbed by the lung tissue more readily.
