Those 16" wheels are from the Mitsubishi Starion. Chrysler also had this car under it's own badge. It had a similar siloutte as the Toyota Supra, but I think came in Turbo. As good as the Starion was in looks it was SHIT in reliability!!!! All Mitsubishi's were AWFUL until recent years!!!

the reason that the camera shake appears the same with both ON as with both OFF is because the lens is trying to counteract the shake by directing the light to where IT THINKS the sensor is, but the sensor is actually moving to counteract the shake, so the light the lens redirected is no longer hitting it's intended target.

Now this is a review that I had been waiting for! If i had this camera and lens combination, which IS system uses less power? I would gladly forgo the benefits of stabilization of the viewfinder image if both systems have the same effectiveness but the sensor shift IS used less battery power.

Glad to help! I believe Live View and Anti Shake can heat up the sensor over time, but the E-510 will shut them off if it's getting hot. I think there's mention of this in the manual. I wouldn't worry, but I would suggest using the optical v/f for most of your shots.

I bought this camera over a week ago and i love it. i was taking great picture in 30min and this is the first slr i have ever used. it a great beginner slr camera. one thing that really turned me on to it was the live view. ive been used to it for years cause of my old compact camera. now one of the thing that I have recently read is that live view heats up the camera and heat is something that really effect the sensor cause more noise in your pictures. I am upgrading my E-500 to either the new E-3 or the E-510, simply for LiveView. There is simply no better way to manually focus critical pictures than on a larger LCD screen under magnification...small viewfinders just don't cut it. If you don't use manual focus, then perhaps you don't need LV...but I personally think LV is a great tool for critical focusing and perhaps macro.

The E-System does know which focal length it's using, but the sensor can still only move so far within the body regardless of the lens you attach. Whereas if stabilisation is built into the lens, it can be tailored specifically for the focal length.

Great demonstration of in body verses in lens stabilization, I expected the in lens to out perform the in body but the results although very close seem to favor the in body set up. As for live view I think it's just a natural evolution of the Digital SLR. I don't understand the strong objection to live view, it's there if you want it and if you don't then don't use it. Simple as that.

the e-510 is a much better camera to the eos400 or D40x or A100. quite simply, in terms of image quality, both will be 99% the same. but the 510 has built in IS and Liveview. dont underestimate the benefit of both of these, IS will give you blur free handheld shots where the eos400 cant. and liveview can allow you to take closeups, overheads, etc, very easily. add in the best dust shaker in the business, and the 510 is an amazing machine. it wasnt EISA 2007 camera of the year for no reason.

I own this camera and love it however my one compaint is that it blows out the highlghts. I hope this can be corrected through firmware up-dates. Otherwise this camera is perfect. The two newly designed kit lenses are with ED glass are much sharper than the E-500 non-ED kit lenses which I own and they focus faster. They are smaller and lighter which is probably why they focus faster. Well done Olympus.

so , this is the method that i use to re-stuff my 510 carts. If you are re stuffing a penstyle cart with a tebag you will need to use the cut off bits to also put into the cart , it's cheap and works pretty well , and it sure beats buying blank carts to re-fill

I've been using this method since i got my Joye, and i love it. One change: i cut the fold off the bottom, also, which keeps juice from collecting in that fold. Seems to wick better. This is so superior to the batting that comes in the empties. Also, I've been rolling them width-wise, to get a little bit thicker. I'll have to try them lengthwise. Oh, and the little bit sticking out the end is vital to this method's success. Thanks so much for he tip!!

The Case is great, i've had one for around 3 years now. i do have the fan problem which has bugged me, but i will fix that tonight now i know how. As far as upgrades, this case fits them all, I have recently installed a Gainward 9800GT 1GB golden sample GFX card and it fits fine, though getting the power to it may be an issue depending on your PSU, I also installed an Arctic cooling Freezer Extreme 2 CPU fan which is placed nicely to pull in cool air through the mesh on the side.

This is just the EASIEST way i have found to refill using teabags and a 510 cartridge... Probably not the BEST way to do it but i have found that it wicks pretty good and TASTES MUCH BETTER THAN POLY- FILL DOES!!

this was not my idea... just a video on how to do it... to answer your question tho... i never really have counted the puffs that i get but id say with 15 drops of juice you can get maybe a half days worth of vaping heavily but the thing to remember is vaping hard no matter what your filler material is gonna strain your atomizer so i just keep the carts/teabags topped off with 4-6 drops at a time...keep em wet, it keeps em happy! ;) i hope that answered/helped...

The foam is great. I have tried a few different ways of using the foam. your method is ok, but the disadvantage in my opinion is that the cart will never empty, what I mean is because the foam is only at the top, the liquid in the cart will never reach the top. I have had better luck with cutting the foam into a T shape, where it will use a wick type setup, drawing fluid from the bottom, allowing longer time between fills. It seems to work for me. Again just my opinion! Thanx Man Mike

i really dont understand how the fluid doesn't come out of the draw-end and onto your lips, the regular stuff i use, and fill up with a puddle on top, and drip a few drops onto the atomizer itself, then when i take long slow drags, i get some liquid on my lips and on the outside mouthpiece and it sucks, then after it dies down i get a metallic burnt taste and i need to reapply some more drops :-/

@BEOWULF9965 - that means you ATTY is overheating. it will melt the plastic of your cartridge. dont use it with it doing this. that bad taste is the melting plastic (check the edge of your cartridge). its usually a bad Atty, or a dry one. put a 2 drips directly on the atty. then hold the button down to see if it still does. give it a couple presses after dripping to let it get the liquid going. see if it stops..if it burns bright red still. get a new atty. its usually cuz it dried out too much.

I always clean mine every tuesday, and thursday nights, I never see any residue when I blow on the, and I noticed that my 510 tastes like if it's burning something, so I went ahead and looked inside and it has that little sponge thing stuck to it, I tried to use tweezers to pull them out but it hits the coil thing inside the atty, so I don't know how to get that sponge thing, I have two attys, but it has only been two weeks since i got it, help me please!! anyone

On the 901, i've found you don't actually have to "inhale" while doing the dry burn. Im not sure if its an issue, but you can just blow on the bridge with a steady stream of air and it will activate and blow the vapor away from your face at the same time. It's not AS effective i guess because it takes a bit longer, but if you fill your lungs and focus a strong gust of air directly onto the bridge it seems to work well.

I bought a 510 from bensbackwoods also. I got a lot of info from Ben about sharpening and care, and ended up buying a few different models. I should have bought 10 of the 510 as it is no longer available which is too bad as it is a great bushcraft and carving knife. I love the 911 and the and the stainless clipper too. Furthermore I agree that giving a quality bushcraft knife is a special gift. Nothing says "let's hit the great outdoors" like giving someone some quality equipment!

Hi, thx for the great vids. You might already know this but the "beltloop" on your mora is actually a buttonsnap. They are made to snap onto buttons on workpants. Just take some jeans and try to snap it onto the front button :P. You can make a beltloop for it if you want, it is really easy. Just get a strip of leather (or other fabric), punch a hole in it and hammer a button in. you can attatch and detatch the beltloop whenever you want. (try google => mora beltloop)

Some people do this to save money, get better vapor, etc. The downside to adding glycerin is that it dilutes the flavor so unless you are making your own flavors, I would not recommend it (unless you have a nasty flavored e-liquid that you are trying to tone down).

Depends on the model of e-cig you are using, how often you use it, whether you drip or use cartridges etc. I'm a heavy user so I typically get 2 months out of an 510 atty, 1 month out of a 801 atty (I use both everyday so your mileage may vary). @SpooToob I've been vaping for a year and I'd say that dripping is not much harder on the atty than using carts (if at all). To remove any residue from the coil, once in a while (a week or so) you can just use the manual battery to "cook" the residue off for about 20 seconds. Just leave the atty attached to the battery and remove the cartridge.

You mentioned dripping, I believe this is hard on the atty because the atty always dries out when the drip is gone, which leaves more resin on the coil. Eventually the coil becomes covered which gives you the burnt taste (and eventually becomes ash) but keeping the coil wet will avoid all this, so using carts are definitely the way to go because they will keep your coils nice and wet.

@jakegribbin it is glycerin and there are a few reasons to mix it. 1) Thicken up your vapor 2) Decrease the strength of liquid that is too strong 3) Make you $ go further. Example: Mix equal parts of 36mg e-liquid and glycerin to make twice as much 18mg strength juice. Negatives: Makes e-liquid sticky and messier (if you have a leak) and decreases the flavor of the e-liquid. I typically vape 24mg e-liquid without mixing with glycerin...but occasionally I like to use it.

The beginning of this episode is MADNESS and CRUEL! I mean the Haters(anti-gays) going 'round shouting gay is "Abomination to GOD!" I didn't know GOD preaches HATE to people. If that is the case, the Haters telling others that GOD is a HATER, a RACIST, and that he's IGNORANT!" Not my religion, but I think GOD is NOT a HATER or wanting WAR!
