I don't think he was saying that gear = skills, but i think he was saying, that in wow you can look at a player (or you use to be able to), see their gear, and know they had to have skills to get the gear that they did so you could decide not to fight them alone or whatever, whereas in gw2 you'll have to wait and see how good they are and? you may not realize how much better than you they are until its too late

Thinking that multiple deathcaps is the easy way to get 1k AP is the noob thought. Archangles, Merc Treads, Rod of Ages, deathcap, Hourglass, archangles, blue elixer. Obviously only works if you get full build. Generally I either get full build, lose, or they? surrender. Full build is 1k AP, so the 20 magic penetration sorc boots is actually not needed if you trade them for merc treads, and then trade your normal MR item (say Abyssal), for a second Archangels.

as a cass? player first off i suggest you go with flash, the idea being that you have a speed buff with your Q when you hit, Second off i think you should go with somthing like boots rather than the ring, or somthing that you can use to turn into somthing thats usefull. i hope this helps=)
