And i'm sure you already know this now but, hitting space then aiming at a context-sensitive target (or the ground), then left clicking is an easy? way to give orders. I think it's a great control scheme. 1 button 1 mouse click.

I don't know if staying in tree? shadows helps in stealth, but at night the darkness definitely helps. I've seen enemies almost walk over me at night on regular difficulty and didn't even notice.

Pick 2 of the friendly AI.. (one with a hmg) press CTRL+F1.. This will make them team red, you can now select? them with Shift+F1. Now.. pick a high point (such as that hill you mentioned) select them and tell them to sit there in danger mode.. Hold alt and click somewhere ahead with them selected to tell them to 'watch that position'. Move up, to that position.. Then tell them to move up to a position further ahead. Pat yourself on the back. You have just executed a bounding maneuver.

I suggest you turn down the visibility to under 1600... Arma 2 is also more demanding o the Cpu than? the Gpu so if u dont havce a high end Cpu u might bad Fps too.
