no that has absolutely nothing to do with what happened. it was a total accident, and everyone involved lost their job. they were practicing hovering at 10 ft above the water, but no one noticed they were still going down until they were submerged. then the pilot pulled up as fast as he could and somehow,? the helicopter was still working. still the entire crew lost their jobs, it wasn't intentional. also special ops don't submerge helicopters.

No, they were actually trying to take a photo for Facebook, and lost control. They? caused over 500,000 dollars worth of damage, and lost their license to fly forever.

4 years of college, fork & knife training, pilot training, hours logged...yeah,? "let's go take a picture and risk 10 years of our lives on purpose!"

Oh, but I'm more than qualified. Resumes don't fit in YouTube comments though, but comments are. Why would I be wrong given you're huge experience in the US Navy? It's obvious to me that he's practicing dipping. That he's off grid tells me that he went rogue and is doing it on his own before attempting actual qualification. Here,? he just go sucked down more than expected and took on some water.

@theRAmmstein16 Former Air Force pilot Chuck Grace said after watching the video it was incredible the pilot was able to pull the aircraft out of the water but wondered what they? were doing over Lake Tahoe. "These two pilots shouldn't have been where they were, shouldn't have been that low and shouldn't have been what t hey were doing, I think," said Grace. 10 News

jen8933 yes jen but in my case I am a air force veteran and have had at least 5 different troops relate ufo stories to me-- that? were not made up and fake...remember-- the helicopter pilots can die in a crash into water-- there is no reason to think it was playing around-- there was something in the water and the helicopter got in trouble getting images of it.

Fox News has nothing? to do with this persons stupidity...if anything, Fox News gives people more military insight...maybe you're the one who needs to do a little research next time.
