Yes, agree totally. Even when they were a British blues band in the 60s (that stuff really kicked arse), before they did an about face with Lindsey and Stevie, they were great. Have to admit, though, the Muzak at my work is wearing out some of their 70s hits a bit, but I still love 'em.? They were definitely unique in so many ways. Mick Fleetwood was an influence on me as a musician as well. All unique and extremely talented musicians!

I see where you're coming from and I appreciate it, but I never said Stevie sucked. But it is what it is, and that is that Christine is quite underappreciated in contrast to Stevie. I happen to prefer Christine's soulful, elegant sound and style over? Stevie's flamboyance, but that's just me. As I said though, I give credit where it's due: The Mac wouldn't be the same without Stevie and that says a lot right there!

Seems there's always one in the? band that has the mass appeal, "the look" or the sex appeal, while the rest of the band are the musicians for the most part. What was the main reason she left FM anyone know? I love this woman, she's amazing. I've been to a couple of their concerts and of course she wasn't there, but I wish she was. I feel that yeah Stevie Nicks took centerstage years ago, but Christine McVie is still OG. Her voice is uncomparable to Stevie's. 2? great singers, 2 completely different stlyes. She deserves so much credit for all the work she put into FM. A reunion with Christine is long overdue.

For those younger listeners of Fleetwood Mac that only think it goes back to the later inception of the group with Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham, there was an earlier sound that the former group lead by Bob Welch for a few short years in the early 1970's that made those special sounding recordings. Find the 'Future Games' Album and listen to the guitars of Welch and Danny Kirwin. They made great efforts to rekindle that sound here with? the new guitar players, and Christine's lush vocals.

I simply adore Christine! She is just lovely, confident, classy, very self? assured & seems grounded. When I was younger, everyone seemed to try & make out a rivalry between Chris & Stevie. Chris never played into that. She was just her incredible self, writing & singing great songs & being a rock solid member of the Mac & friend to Stevie Nicks. I love ya Chris & you are sorely missed!
