I "had" a 3 Punch Rothchilds Maduro Maduro habit, got very expensive. A cigarette will not do this to your? mouth. I LOVE cigars... I can't stand how people try to "romanticize" smoking one though. Cut it, light it, smoke it... Not too tough.

@mrvideogamevideos I've been smoking cigars for a little over a year now and I've been able to go long periods of time without smoking a cigar. We're talking? weeks here. I've never had any sort of physical craving towards a cigar, and it's really easy to not smoke one ever again if you don't like it. Cigarette companies manipulate the level of nicotine in a cigarette wheras cigars are made purely from tobacco with no manipulation whatsoever.

@ForeignMoney1? cigars are not inhaled, a puff of smoke is drawn into your mouth and tasted. Inhaling a cigar is generally a very bad idea as some richer cigars can actually make you sick. The risk of cancer is decreased in your lungs because you don't inhale, but greatly increased in your mouth and throat because you hold the smoke longer and cigars are larger than cigarettes. @outskool100 I actually have WPW myself, rare to meet another person with it. The only heart issues you'd face would be the mild increase in heart rate due to the nicotine. Even though? you don't inhale, nicotine still enters your body through the inside of your mouth. I'd say it would be no different than drinking a soda as far as heartbeat increase (if that much). Still a risk of mouth cancer, so like many joys in life, it comes with a risk.

@SuperComplainer The smoke from cigars is alkaline and the smoke from regular cigarettes is acidic. The alkaline makes it easier for the mouth to absorb it and therefore no need to inhale it. For a more chemical explanation search cigars and? alkaline. It really has nothing to do with cigars being filterless but how the tobacco is made. As most folks know and stated in the top comment, a lighter is not the way to light a cigar, a regular match is way better, or cedar tree.

This is not the proper way to light a cigar, your toasting step should be separate from the lighting step to keep from scorching the tobacco as well? as to establish an even burn. Also, the comments about matches and butane lighters are correct, but honestly I've never had a problem with a bic ruining my cigar...I just wouldn't use an oil lighter.

@Graynumber smoking anything isn't good for you. Arguably cigars are less bad due to the fact that you don't get any smoke in your lungs. Also, good cigars don't have a bunch nasty chemicals added like manufactured cigarettes. George Burns smoked cigars regularly and? lived to be a ripe old age. That's not something you generally hear in regards to pack a day cigarette smokers.

Opus X by Fuente is the best cigar by far, most Cubans around now days are in specailty shops and theyre so old? that the goodness has aged out of them. Nada, I had to watch the video twice. The draw on that? cigar is "ridiculously good"!!! Wow...you obviously enjoyed smoking it from the first real draw.
