You are right,? my answer is a bit incomplete, but I was simply talking about the technical aspect of the war. You are absolutely right, Germany couldn't win a war against the whole world.

you'll be happy to know that, ATI has the GSG STG44, a replica in 22LR then? MSRP at 599... street price will be lower.. and it comes in a replica crate? with a nice little history breakdown inside! google it.

not really true....they lost because they started war with whole world, isnt that simpler explanation? they had new weapons and it need to test these weapons first, americans stole weapons from them (together with russians) and they were testing them until today, now they had new cool weapons which? are from german design, hitler made some mistakes and they lost, but they were ahead of their time

I'm not saying that the design wasn't practical, it? was only designed to be fired from tanks and cover anyway. It was actually a very good idea. A chrome lined bore would have definitely helped it's longevity. All I'm saying is that you'd be surprised how many rounds you can go through in just one fight.

Dude, if your that worried about the krumlauf distorting from heat, you can remake it with a replacable barrel liner, like the germans did with the 88mm anti-aircraft gun. Though with those steep curves, it would probably need to be a 2 part design. In any case, though, its way more pragmatic than the corner? shots.

We took a lot of their technology,? like infrared. The vampir hooked up to the stg but it was huge.

I know more? than a few Marines and you'd be surprised at how much ammo you could end up using in a fight.

Wow. Germans really did make? everything.. I need to buy an StG 44 soon.

Thats just stupid. Overheating happens with any weapon if you fire it enough, even heavy barreled machine guns. People would complain about the 300-500 round barrel life of the krumlauf, but that was another false dilemna. Soldiers never carried more? than couple hundred rounds of ammo (and even then, you weren't guarenteed to fire it all), so this would easily see you through more than a couple battles.

Was it? The MG45 on which the delayed blowback mechanism was based was about the produced near the end afaik, but? the G3 itself?
By: TehChocco. on 30 Nov 11, 14:02:19
The G3 was months away? from starting production when the war ended, just o give an idea of how advanced germany really was.
By: TheSnow77. on 27 Nov 11, 21:18:08
@Juggalo4life445 In fact it is crap^^ The bullet gets to hot in the Krummlauf so it's dangerous and useless. But the idea was? really brilliant! And this was in 1944!

iran build his own corner shot israel says " look the muzlims copy from us" but the fucking zionists? copy it from the nazis like the iranians too FUCK ISRAEL
By: MrThomPS3. on 04 Nov 11, 18:08:51
That is really simple. Though the Germans without a? doubt had weapons that were lightyears ahead of it's time, they couldn't produce them in great numbers, their Karabiner98K stayed their main weapon.

AT Kursk the soldiers in the Elefant tried to? shoot down the gun muzzle. Turretless, it couldn't traverse well. With a broken track, it couldn't attack or defend. by contrast, patton asserted multiple times that every tank needed at least 2 machine guns.

the nazis had shit ideas about politics, but i? give them credit for bein creative when it comes to their weaponry.
By: DaManzMoney. on 26 Jun 11, 17:50:20
@josephlwu1 They made these after Kursk when the Elephant tank came out? and there was no gun on it so they used these to shoot out of the tank turret

So they did. But the Americans didn't have a curved barrel? device until they had seen the German design, and realizing how useful the design could be, they adopted it for their own tank crews during the Korean War.
