It depends on the? type of thin. If it's sparse thin, like you don't have a lot, that can be a challenge, you'll have to make larger sections to compensate. If it's fine thin, as in each hair strand is small then you actually have an advantage, fine hair dreads easier than coarse hair.

If crochet is done correctly it should not look like braids at all. I had dreads for 8 years and make them too using backcombing and crochet and it should only look like normal? tight locks when done correctly. Your dreads have been root flipped at 0:40 and 1:29 Is this at the hairdressers you are speaking of? If so they just threaded them through on their own root which is awful for dreads! If she was charging you for this I am concerned as this is not crochet at all :(

Every dreads that I smelled reeks, ranging from wet sponge to Jerry curls activator. How is soap suppose to get in the insides of a lock, its impossible, yes the outside of a? dread may smell sweet but the inside is full of bacteria and we all know that bacteria causes bad breath. So you can imagine what a lock smell like when opened up. You get 50-100 of those swinging around in a basketball game and you have a Tornado? of pure Stink Bomb erupting.

also silicon is not in hair naturally. i dont know where you found that. silicone ifs actually nto great for your hair. its in shampoos to make it silky and straighten it out. its one of the worth things for dreadslocks. infact it can take dreadlocks right out. never put it in your hair? if you want it natural.

I love your? hair! I;m glad you posted this video because for some weird reason some people? think you aren't supposed to wash dreadlocks Washing dreads is very important! Failing to wash dreadlocks creates an oil build up which can hinder your hair's locking potential. My boyfriend washes his dreads a couple times per week. If you have super oily hair, washing it every other day wouldn't be a bad idea. Also, using a blow drier helps, it just takes a while since dreads are thick. =)

ive had dreads in my life once and im getting them again cause i recently cut them and dealing with my fro gets annoying but for those with curly hair i suggest using ampro pro styl gel to get dreads cause its hella healthy for? the hair and scalp but before gettin them put in you would want to wash your head and scalp a day before getting them put in cause if you dont want to deal with the loosened locks and you want them to lock quickly dont wash your hair for a while and use beeswax

I did mine myself, and dreads are permanent. They look crappy for at least 6 months, then start to look like dreads. You can keep them forever if you want. You can comb them out, but it takes 30mins+ to? comb each one out. It's expensive to have them done by a salon, so you're better off doing it yourself, or get a friend to do it. Do your reseach before going to a salon. If you want temporary dreads, you can twist strands of hair, then use a straightener on them, and hairspray them in place.
