the e-510 is a much better camera to the eos400 or D40x or A100. quite simply, in terms of image quality, both will be 99% the same. but the 510 has built in IS and Liveview. dont underestimate the benefit of both of these, IS will give you blur free handheld shots where the? eos400 cant. and liveview can allow you to take closeups, overheads, etc, very easily. add in the best dust shaker in the business, and the 510 is an amazing machine. it wasnt EISA 2007 camera of the year for no reason.

I own this camera and love it however my one compaint is that it blows out the highlghts. I hope this can be corrected through firmware up-dates. Otherwise this camera is perfect. The two newly designed kit lenses are with ED glass are much sharper than the E-500? non-ED kit lenses which I own and they focus faster. They are smaller and lighter which is probably why they focus faster. Well done Olympus.

the reason that the camera shake appears the same with both ON as with both OFF is because the lens is trying to counteract the shake by directing the light to where IT THINKS the sensor is, but the sensor is actually? moving to counteract the shake, so the light the lens redirected is no longer hitting it's intended target.

Glad to help! I believe Live View and Anti Shake can heat up the sensor over time, but the E-510 will shut them off if it's getting hot. I think there's mention? of this in the manual. I wouldn't worry, but I would suggest using the optical v/f for most of your shots.

I bought this camera over a week ago and i love it. i was taking great picture in 30min and this is the first slr i have ever used. it? a great beginner slr camera. one thing that really turned me on to it was the live view. ive been used to it for years cause of my old compact camera. now one of the thing that I have recently read is that live view heats up the camera and heat is something that really effect the sensor cause more noise in your pictures. I am upgrading my? E-500 to either the new E-3 or the E-510, simply for LiveView. There is simply no better way to manually focus critical pictures than on a larger LCD screen under magnification...small viewfinders just don't cut it. If you don't use manual focus, then perhaps you don't need LV...but I personally think LV is a great tool for critical focusing and perhaps macro.

The? E-System does know which focal length it's using, but the sensor can still only move so far within the body regardless of the lens you attach. Whereas if stabilisation is built into the lens, it can be tailored specifically for the focal length.

Im using the E-510 as well and i must say that the in body IS works very well especially in longer focal lengths.. You failed to see that E-system actually communicates with the body? so even with longer focal lengths, the in body IS compensates for that.. =)

it? really depends on what you're looking for. while the e-420 is cheaper, it also is smaller and lacks image stabilization. if you want a good sized grip and i.s. on your cam, you may want to get the e-510/520. image quality on both should be the same as they share the same sensor.

Actually, you need to expand your music directory as well as replace that out of focus video camera and when you do, buy a tripod with it instead of trying to do your video with one hand! Isn't the E510 a great camera? I know that I love mine, it's what real photography is all about, it's the finest piece of optical equipment that I? own short of my two beady eyeballs! You need to get the fl-36 flash now, it is a great piece of equipment helping to make better more professional photos!

@Grvthangcompared to other juices it wasnt amazing but for the price it is totally worth? it. the flavors were kind of weak in my opinion, could barely taste it. i have some flavor concentrates the match the flavors i ordered, put just a little bit in and made all the difference. im still ordering stuff off the site just to try it, their prices are amazing and it wont hurt until you try. vape on

Does anyone have Red USA Mix they said it taste like Marlboro Red but I was very disappointed it didnt does it? taste like it to anyone??? However regular USA Mix did but a website said it was Marlboro Light I hate Marlboro Lights :(

I used to be? scared of stuff from China too- esp. after a bad batch of made in China Colgate toothpaste made 2 people in New Jersey very sick. I used to feel that way re: e-liquid but changed my mind 100% after I saw a youtube video of a Chinese e-liquid factory and compared it with another youtube video of the Johnson Creek factory in Wisconsin. Search for these two videos here- I think you'll be amazed to see that the Chinese factory's higher standards!

I used? to smoke menthol but cannot stand menthol flavored e-liquid (it's jut not the same). just get a cheap Joye 510 starter kit and a 10ml bottle of menthol liquid to try it out. There are so many types of e-cigarettes now that it's very confusing but it doesn't need to be. 510 starter kit will get you 2 batteries and 2 atomizers. It can work with 510 drip tips (for direct dripping), cartomizers, or cartridges.
