It is without a doubt one of my favorite of all his compositions, and several other favorites on here include Julie with the Open blouse and The Big Ship. Go tell that to the thousands of metalheads that the last months vomit on Lulu saying and writing even in magazines (paper or web) disgusting things about Lou Reed and stupid comments about Metallica. I m listening to metal too, Armorred Saint, UFO, Dimmu Borgir etc...u name it. i think it's funny? how he refers to being american television being so chaotic in the 80s ..you would think it couldn't get any worse but thats certainly not the case with reality tv. watch whatever you like, however, don't market these filthy tv shows like jersey shore, kardashian sisters, etc to impressionable children in high school and middle school that don't know any better yet. it's a sick world we live in ..greed run our world. on a side note, eno's 'another green world' is still my fave

Taking? the lyric thing further, I've often found the words (as opposed to the voice) to be quite percussive in Eno's songs. Look at Miss Shapira on Phil Mananera's Diamond Head - "Shop Steward, Shop Shop Steward" is Eno's answer to "Doo Woop, Doo Woop"

Many of you have commented on Eno's lyrics? - just as Eno turned the tape recorder into an instrument, he also turned words into an instrument - ie using them for their sound rather than their meaning. When the two coincided - magic!

When I first heard Dead Finks Don't Talk all those years ago I realised that good music didn't have? to be in the "top 40" to be good - in fact, the contrary turned out to be the case. Thanks to Brian Eno I've been on a wonderful close to 40 year musical journey - even MGMT have a song dedicated to Eno.
