I have one and it works good for gaming, graphic art, watching videos, pretty much everything you would want from a PC and tablet in one. It would be perfect if it wasn't for three problems. It has bad battery life, touch calibration changes when you turn off touch or add touch, rather than staying the same, and the dimensions for it's resolution is a bit outdated and looks odd with some websites.?

Although provided by Wacom, the drawing ability has a delay that can be quite frustrating for artists/designers who are familiar with Wacom Products. Before you invest in this, GO AND USE A DEMO. No. This Wacom Penabled pen is made to work with tablet PC's only. ? You can't use an Intuos 3 pen on an Intuos 4, or an intuos 4 pen on a Cintiq. The tech is not solely in the pen.

It's a wifi only machine, so no data plan required. And no, you can't connect it? to a MacBook pro. You can't connect it to a windows PC either. It's not a tablet like the iPad, but rather a full blown computer. So it doesn't need to sync or anything. You can use SD cards to get your stuff on and off the device.

Well it's close but not as perfect as the Cintiq. The Cintiq has 2048 levels of pressure while the Wacom Pen with the Asus is either 256 or 512. You really notice when you jump from Tablet to Cintiq within a? short period of time.

This is a quick personal review for the Asus Slate EP121. If you guys are interested on this tablet, I suggest you do some research and ask yourself why would you need a tablet PC. This baby works well with Photoshop CS5, Painter 11, ZBrush and amongst other programs. I will be uploading another video using Photoshop for Digital Painting.

Have seen the stuff. Looks great yet the battery life ruins the impression. Competitors go for 8-10 hours with screen brightness set to 80-85 % and both WiFi and Bluetooth on - what is the point of having a tablet with 3-3.5 hours of life with screen brightness set to 50%? and both WiFi and Bluetooth on? It is designed for a serious prolonged work (Photoshop, MS Office etc.) but would shut down almost immediately after watching a single movie.

Not luxury... at least for me it isn't. I have done my digital painting and this has helped tremendously. I can connect it to my tv or other HD displays to extend the monitor when working? with more than one project ( using photoshop) and it works great. I don't see myself carrying around a citiq as easily as I can with this tablet. I guess it depends on what you really need it for in order to judge the product.

Imagen having a war on a multiplayer server? with this mod. ;D Arenas made of Obsidian and for each kill you would get 10 gold ingots (currency) Buying guns in a shop. For 1 kill you get lvl 1. From lvl 1 to lvl 2 = 2 kills.. At lvl 5 You can get a move or Sskill. Like Move faster for 5 sec. Or invisibility for 10 sec. Or at each lvl you can get one move or skill and enchant them with the currency. ;D That would be great !

Hey, sorry for the late response! If you rightklick an exe file you can use the option "deal with compatibility issues". Not? sure if this is the right wording as I translated from German "Behandeln von Kompatibilitätsproblemen". With that you can manually choose which Windows settings you like to choose. I chose Win7 settings and it worked. Hope that helps you too!

I agree with linkerro; No disrespect, but you should redo this video once you actually learn how to use the interface right. For example, when you said you needed a mouse for right click options to uninstall and unpin apps, you can just swipe down on the icon and it will bring up a? menu with uninstall, unpin, open containing folder, ect. Thanks

@gruberandrew and linkerro, actually not all the gestures work on the EP121 due to an issue with the drivers and the screen getting out of calibration very quickly. I have watched the videos on Microsoft's site. They still have work to do? on the UI and of course Asus has work to do on drivers.

Those two times yes, however? it does not always do that. The interface is still very buggy to be honest. Microsoft still has time to work on this though so it is not a bad thing to be honest.
