and quite frankly, people miss the point about this product line because they are polluted with Dynasty warrior gundam....The whole point of the legend BB line is to bring back iconic designs from the 80s-90s (at least what's what I see they're trying to do). Update their proportions, and let the 20-30 something year-olds buy 2-3 copies, and introduce the newer fans to these designs, just like how RX-78. There are kits in the BB line that represent? milestones...I think that's what they're trying

I'm actually really excited for the legend line, they have shown kits such as Musha God in legend BB mode and Victory Dai shogun (my personal fav) right behind it...I think they realize that they have to update their fav selling old kits..(the 1-4 Daishoguns, Victory, New world (#120), #107 (light king),, others come to? mind)... I think the sky's the limit for the line quite frankly. I know people a bit older (like myself) who find nostalgic value in them will be suckers for them.

Knight Gundam! Knight Gundam! Knight Gundam! (It's only a model) (Sssh!) I think this is a nice direction for the SD line. It's always nice to see new stuff but the idea of updating the older 'legends' is most welcome. I just wish the releases weren't so far apart. Sangokuden got a real consistent blitz, whilst Legend BB will be lucky to see 3 kits by year's end. A shame because there's so many kits deserving of upgrade.? At least we saw a nice Godmaru prototype.

lol your a bit raged there dude chill-out and yes I happen to think it is like the ZZ gundam mainly because in the original series got the rxz8, the zeta and the double zeta and? this series has followed a similar path so that's the main comparison and why the people have the idea for it whether the Age 3 actually looks like the double zz is another thing though cause although the MS look similar they are indeed very different.

Am? I the only one who is BAFFLED as to why people are comparing the AGE-3 to the ZZ?! O_o Aside from maybe the shoulders a little bit, there is BARELY ANY RESEMBLANCE to the ZZ AT ALL! If they would have stuck with the ORIGINAL AGE-3 Normal Design, then YES, it would TOTALLY look like the ZZ. But they CHANGED IT since then, and this one looks A LOT less like the ZZ; to the point where it's BARELY EVEN COMPARABLE. What are you people seeing here that I'm not?! o_O

Yeah, the? Jegan pretty much replaced the older GM units. However, the Jegan was also phased out for the Heavygun- which in turn was phased out in favor of the Jamesgun/Javelin- All of which are GM descendents (RGM model number). The line has moved on- but each iteration bears strong resemblance to the original. So basically, the Jegan is a GM the same way the Heavygun and Javelin are. At least, thats how I view it. ^_^

The adjustable mono eye will be a seller, in addition to the custom action base add-ons. The instructions read 40/40/10/10 for the lighter pink/orangeish color, but I am debating just mixing 70red/30white or possibly 60red/40white. I'll have to see the plastic up close, and preferably in person, before I make that call. I'm not a stickler for historical accuracy, so if its? close, Im happy.

yeeaaaah.... rrobbert I was sold at the action pose. I just started watching Z Gundam, so I am getting a new found affection for? some of the mobile suits. I haven't seen the Marasai in the anime yet, but this would be a kit (being a minor fan of grunt suits, a fan of zakus, despite having no zaku kits, a fan of zeta gundam, and a fan of master grades) that I will add to my backed up log. In fact, I may expedite it near the top (Im in the poor house atm ^_^).

Rrobbert, I need? you to clear something up, when was it revealed that Algreus was a vagan conspirator? I recall you mentioned it happened in an episode of the second generation, but when I watched it I did not pick up on anything of the sort, and to be sure i read the plot synopsis of it on MAHQ, which also did not find anything of Algreus being a traitor. So do you know it happened or assume so?

I think they are developing his character slowly since he will have more episodes than either Flit or Asemu. I personally like Kio and want to see how he develops now. From what I first saw of him his mindset was "vagans are bad, we are good", but? then all of a sudden his friend and mentor turns out to be a vagan spy but for a noble reason, and died because of it. He seems way softer than his predecesors and naive so i want to see how his charcter develops from here.

That's a given but what I meant was Kio, so far, just seems like a tool in the context of the story. At least Asemu was the focus in his generation, story-wise. It's easy to see he's the main character as? was Flit in the first. Here, at least in the first few episodes, I don't care for Kio as much as I want to. That's how I see it, though.

This gets a double thumbs up from me. Any 2.0 is very good. The MK.II or RX-78-2 are the ones I'd recommend to someone looking for their first MG; MK.II is realistic, RX-78-2 is cartoony, but they're both fantastic. The newer kits are strange, in that, while quite good, it's really clear that saving money was Bandai's priority. There's very little love in them. Still, just my opinion. PS. The G Gundam MGs are REALLY cheap, and? quite good if screws don't bother you.

Now compare the difference between the HG AGE-1 titus and the MG Age-1 Titus. I disagree with Teldara, the new Wing/Age kits are pretty much like slightly better HG kits. I would go with the? MG RX-178 MKII Ver 2.0. That kit is probably the best example of a "scaled down" perfect grade kit. Lots of cool looking pistons/gimmicks/etc

What is this obsession with having clear parts pre-colored? You can say that you're a lazy modeler all day and night,? but you can't tell me you can't take some clear color or even a sharpy and color it in. I would love to color these parts in a different color like the HG Quanta's sword but I'm stuck with that green color. Having colored clear plastic makes other model builders suffer when it comes to customization. I wish Bandai would go back to un-colored clear plastic.

Are you expecting mgs of every gundam from that series? I have to agree, this episode was pretty average. A female traitor was a bit of a curveball, but it wasn't completely a surprise because they hinted to it in the last episode. What's going to be interesting is how Kio does in the battle. He seems to have a tendency freeze up mid-battle. And is it just me or do the Vagan have alot of "Earthers" for spies? And do they? rely too much on their spies when they're formulating a battle plan? Just a thought.

im fine with younger pilots. its just that with kio he's "too prepared" for piloting the gundam. he doesn't know how to do repair work, got to train while he was very young, has effing x-rounder abilities, has his grandpa to guide him, has his aunt around the ship, gets to have a girl chase after him. compared to flit and asemu he's got an easier time during the war. and add a 3rd gen gundam that has more advanced tech? then the previous gundams. asemu was more of a developing character for me.

About time that there's been? a rrobbert184 review without that handful of dislikes. I don't get it, you'd grasp his review style after one review; why do they keep coming back to dislike the vids? Seems like nonsense to me. The more detail, the better. I also find the vids easy watching; even if I have no intention of buying the kit, they're nice to watch. "everybody likes UC" I'm going to be? honest here Rob, I dislike UC, especially Unicorn. The animation is nice but from what I can tell it's just a repeat of F91. I've tried but I can't find any interesting characters and any that become interesting end up dieing a couple episodes later (screw you, Tomino) or their character takes a huge drop.

They had a Q&A session at a hobby show in Japan last summer, they discussed some upcoming models and talked about some models they would never make. PG Unicorn was too expensive and MG Kshatriya needed a metal frame to stand up. they also mentioned a possible Hyaku Shiki 2.0 or Delta Gundam using the MG Delta Plus, though? they probobly did the HGUC instead since it would be cheaper. they keep saying they will make a MG V2 Gundam but they are trying to get the transformation absolutely perfect.

Yeah, but it's better to establish a base line first. The standard buster is more well known, and some people just like the originals better. There will always be fans of the RX 78 even though there is also some thing like the Unicorn. Also, it allows Bandai to make more money, release the basic one first, then in a few months, release the variations. It's a better business model because it satisfies more? fans and allows for more products.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping too, but I'm not really sure if Bandai will do it or not. Looking at the inner frames of the Strike and the new GAT series, the GAT frame is decently updated, though it's not as big of a jump as say RX178 to RX178 ver. 2.0. But when you stand the Strike next to the new GAT series, it looks so plain for some reason, it also has different proportions. Here's? to hoping for a Strike 2.0.
