This is true. Personally, I felt both IP and HR's plots went sort of sloppy? and silly in the end but the emotional build up to that point forgives HR at least. Plus, the beginning to both games suck you right in and are some of the best intros to any game I've ever seen :)

Such a great gaming experience. Both it and its spiritual predecessor, Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit) had their problems, but they were both extremely unique experiences. IP went silly about 2/3 of the way through with the whole save-the-world Matrix stuff, and HR had some glaring plot holes (yes, I've heard people try to justify the blackouts, but the justifications are all ridiculous and don't hold up to a moment's scrutiny). Despite their? problems, though, both great games.

i would say defiantly get this game, it is a good, but short game, you can play it over multiple times, making different choices, and it will effect the outcome, it's not a game to played only one way, when you get it, experiment, change up the responses much like the walking dead? games coming out, they are structured so that the gameplay exp is different, when you do different things like in bioware games...

Post dramatic stress, he blacked out, I admit they didn't elaborate in it that much but it was far from a shit story. I do get that heavy rain will turn off a ton of people that focus on action gameplay, and less of a story aspect. I think Heavy Rain's main drive was? its story, its gameplay was... different, not one to attract the average person though.

My only complaint about Heavy Rain was the lip syncing. That part was a little off and somewhat distracting, but everything else about this game was perfect. I absolutely loved it. I wasn't halfway through it yet before I started thinking that I wanted to play it again and again and? again. It's basically an interactive film. Just a wonderfully made game.

Ever read my other comments, bro? YouTube allows very little in one comment, so I had to post multiple. I said I prefer the PS3 because it's universal in it's graphical quality. You pay a few hundred bucks, and you're set. ALL PS3 owners will get? to play the game in more/less the same quality (a TV can change this a bit). But a PC? If you want to run Crysis at high settings, you need a freaking SUPERCOMPUTER. That's a BIG disparity between consumers. Many people can't afford that kind of tech.

If it makes you feel any better, this is just a? short "film" using the PS3's engine; it's not actually a game. So you're not missing out in that sense. :) I agree, though. It would be nice if everyone could play all kinds of games. For instance, I've always wanted to play Legend of Zelda games like Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time, but because they're Nintendo exclusive, and I've only owned a Gameboy in the past.... That's life, I guess....

Just to clarify - I own a PS3 AND 360. I'm not trying to start a console war. ALL platforms are good and bad in their own rights. I like BOTH of them. And the Wii's good, too. But in terms of technology, you CAN'T compare the 360 to the PS3. It's not fanboyism to say that the PS3 is superior technologically. It doesn't just have to do with the fact that Sony buys? 1st part devs. It's the fact that if, say, Uncharted were to be ported over, it'd have to be of lesser quality and on multiple discs.

I didn't say that Xbox games can't look good. They just don't look nearly AS good as PS3 games. The 360 is easier to use because it has simpler technology (hence the breakdowns). And if Microsoft doesn't buy any first party developers, then they'll suffer to Nintendo and Sony, which have? MANY. No one to blame but Microsoft. And yes, a PC game CAN look better, but you'd have to have a TOP-NOTCH computer. The PS3's great because you can run high-quality games for a much cheaper price.

There are a lot strongers engines that xbox, and they have proven that some xbox games look realy good, like witcher 2, Rage, Gears of war 3, an so on...so it is not that. It is just how it works...Sony buys a studio for exclusive game and they make it for for ps3 only. Can anybody tell me what the "realtime" part about this video is? Cause in the first part of the video they actually mention that it is all done in realtime. However all the camera work, animations of the robot arms, assembling and disassembly of her body seems like normal animations. I like the video, and dont get me wrong, the graphics are really great. But to me, it seems like one big animation... Can anybody who knows more about? this give me some info?

I don't mean to sound like a fanboy either, but for one thing, the other platforms can't run this. Only the PS3 can due to its high level of technology. They would have? to lower the graphics quality if they were to release it on other platforms. The director of this short, David Cage, revealed that this is an old build of the engine they now use. In other words, it's outdated. If they were to re-do this with the latest engine, it would look even better.

Even though i must? of played this game about 7 times and yes i got extremely bored but i love it the first time i watched a trailer for it i wanted it instantly the first time i played through it really did blow me away on how good i thought this game was and even though ive played it so many time i could easily go through it again so many more times again for me this game is by far ONE OF THE GREATEST GAMES EVER MADE! :D

This is from the supposed "add on" to "Heavy Rain," aka "The Taxidermist," which I know know one has been able to download as? of yet. The original game = awesome. it's like the red ring of death for xbox! I was playing modern warfare one night and it just beeped at me and switched off, never turned back on again, if i tried to turn it on after a few second it would beep flash yellow and then flash red until u turn the power off!? luckily it was a 40GB model so i cud get the disk out by doing a fan test but the console is now scrap!

chill man, iv watched up to the 30th episode now it's wicked to watch! but u have to admit it starts off a bit slow, i guess a lot of games do! It's also the first time i've watched someone play a game instead of playing it myself! But? ye if u havnt played it def keep watching the episodes :)

Ok, for those who are confused. Jason ran out on the road and Ethan jumped in front of the car for him.? Now, the car DID hit Ethan, and Ethan was put into a coma (For I think 6 months or something...). Now if you're confused why JASON died when Ethan took the hit, it's because Jason's body is weak (Being a child) and he took enough of the blast to kill him. Hope that clears things up.
