I think you are over thinking it. Collections are actually easier to share thanks to software and web tools. Think about your xbox live gamer card. It has every game you've ever played, all your stats and things like that. Now if the next generation of system is cloud based it'll have the same thing. Steam is already doing that. It shares what games you own. Your collection will be a part of? your facebook profile in 5 years.

Actually, cleaning the cartridge with alcohol DOES work. Or at least with gameboy games. I got my Pokemon Yellow Version to work by cleaning it with alcohol, and it worked.? Before, I couldn't even get past the title screen.

Best thing? to do to get games working first time, every time, is replacing the 72-pin connector inside. Requires very little know-how (if you can use a screwdriver you should be okay) and gets your NES back to like-new condition! While you're there, you can disable the 10NES chip inside with a pair of needle nose pliers if you're feeling adventurous. This will stop the blinking (blinking is the 10NES chip not detecting a legitimate game and forcing resets) and makes your console region free.

Punch Out rocked. Ninja Gaiden was? epic. I beat Ninja Gaiden II before I beat the first Ninja Gaiden -despite owning the first for a year prior. Battletoads was ridiculously hard. Probably one of the toughest bosses in a game ever, managed to beat Mike Tyson in a Round 2 TKO on Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! The first 1:30 in Round 1 is all 1 hit KO punches thrown by Tyson, the only reason I survived the hit is because I managed to block just in time. Once you survive that, it gets a bit easier, but luckily I TKO'd him before the 3rd round where he is very random.

This is just to show how strong the mighty pink ring is. 16x the strength of the green suit. I chose to do this on level 6 because it is the most difficult of the first 8 levels. This ring is only available through game genie or action replay. I also used codes to start with the Bow & Arrow and Stepladder only because they are required to beat the level.

Yeah, it'd take 12 touches or 48 fireballs to kill you. The thing is with Zelda Classic, some enemies do so much damage that the Gold Ring I mentioned doesn't seem as overpowered, seeing as one enemy does FIVE hearts with the Red Ring on with sword beams? and 2.5 just touching you (which if the Pink Ring was in Zelda Classic, it would get reduced to 1.25 hearts, which is STILL a lot of damage).

In Zelda Classic, there is a Gold Ring that is 8x as powerful as the green tunic, but that's a different thing altogether since that's a program using the NES Zelda's engine, not the actual game itself. I'll say one thing; a 3-heart quest would be an utter joke with the Pink Ring, seeing even Ganon himself only does a measly 1/4 heart (needs 2? touches just to take 1/2 a heart away). You almost have to LET him win to get owned.

First off, this run is amazing. You spanked this game. As most in our youth had to buy new controllers cause of this game. The clinger-wringer. For some reason, on my NES i can pass it easily, But when i? try to do it for fun on the Emulator. It will not let me gain a start on the wheel. I use an Xbox controller for my emulator on original Xbox. The analog output lags on turns and gets you, even when using the joypad. Would you have an idea. I am assuming this was done on the NES.

level 12 was as far as i ever got as a little kid. i could never figure out how not to die at the part 5:30 when the thing shoots poison bubbles at you. this was my favorite level and i loved how you could run all the way around the tower coming out the back side if you run hard enough? to one side. thanks for posting :-D

That is correct. And even though isn't shown in this video, if those clones' floating heads get close enough to you, you'll see that they clearly resemble Hitler. Same goes to that cyborg/Frankenstein guy who shows? up before you fight the Golgo 13 clone. Golgo 13's such a bad-ass. He's an assassin who gets laid by TWO different chicks within 24 hours. Plus, making Hitler's head explode is just awesome. Let's see Hitler "Heil" his way out of that!

If I remember right, the brain, "Smirk", was actually the mind of Hitler. Golgo 13 is also an assasin, not a spy (Censors changed both of these). On top of this, the "DREK" Empire was actually a neo-nazi revivalist faction that was basically? a resurrection of the Nazi regime.

I played this game during the NES era. I died many times and got stuck in the jungle amazons (internet wasn't invented back then) and found the road by accident and got stuck again in some parts.? I couldn't figure how to disable the chamber in the clones. Finally beat the game. After that, decided to beat again and it was a Pro. I hope this gets out in the Wii VC (plus saving in the middle of the game).

Hey Davedwfm, Golgo 13 didn't have infinite continues. It gave you 52 continues. The premise was that it played like a t.v. show, 1 continue for eash week of the year. It still wasn't enough. Game was hard as? hell. I finished this game 2 YEARS after I bought it!

Definitely a game full of difficulty. Probably the only game which really gave you infinite lives simply because it was so difficult. I still wish that the walking parts of the game were a little bit faster paced... then this game? could make a great speedrun or TAS.
