I'm guessing it was scripted. Fits the scene/conversation too well and he seems to almost expect it. Like when he tripped he just kept on walking, being a pretty clumsy person myself I'm usually a little like "woah" when I do something like? that, but it doesn't even seem to phase him.

Every True Blood blooper I can find is Jason running into something or falling over something so either it's all scripted - which would make sense since Jason's not really the brightest crayon in the box - or?
