I'm actaully sporting a LG Optimus Titanium, V6 600MHz (oc'd to 720MHz), 512mb of memory, capible of upgrading the SD card to 32gb Class 10. ? Android 2.2 (downside still no Android 2.3). $200 phone... it's already put my Iphone 3G and my bro-in-law's 3GS to shame. And that's a mild OC for this phone.

Never said I know alot about "tech stuff" But i surley know more than you as you dont know the differnce between Capacitive and Restistiv screen. Who hasent used an iPhone? And as I said before, i never said that Nokia is better than Apple. FYI? N900 uses the Resistiv screen, iPhone the Capacitive. And as before there is pros and cons with both technologies. there is a very good app by which you can take remote access of any win OS. it works very smooth even on a very low internet speed, I am using 2G and works very well. currently it is available under extra repo but I feel very safe to work with this app. THANKS TO THE MAINTAINER AND DEVELOPER IF THIS APP

Unfortunately for N900 owners, Flash Player 10 is yet to be available. To my knowledge, the only way to get around the problem you're experiencing at the moment is to install? "Tweak Flash plugin", which can be installed from N900's Application Manager. "Tweak Flash plugin" allows you to "pretend" that you already have the version of Flash Player that the website is asking for. Good luck :)

You know what is missing in the browser? Word wrapping. A lot of pages aren't readable, because the browser doesn't wrap the text. You either have to zoom out a lot, of have? to scroll sideways constantly. I am using Opera Mobile now, would prefer MicroB, but it just doesn't work for me on a lot of pages due to the missing word wrapping.

I Had The N900 And Now I Have The N8, The Only Real Difference Is The Browsers, N900 Is WAY Better. Symbian 3 On My N8 Is Almost As Smooth, Stable, And Responsive As? My Old N900 Was. After I Installed SPB Mobile Shell The Performance Is Damn Near Identical To The N900. Just a bit of fun really.. Nitdroid currently has so many drawbacks its not really usable but performance is excellent so there's hope for the future! My N900 is in retirement these days but its there a toy to play with!

hi there, glad you liked the vid! if you add the extras-devel and extras-testing just search for an app called Nitdroid installer, this will do most of the hard work for you including making the dual boot work. But i strongly advise you? google "nitdroid n12" for forum posts that'll help how to install the latest version available based on Gingerbread - its much better and installed on the internal memory with a slight OC, very fast!

trying to say if android is faster than maemo is virtually impossible, they're quite different. the N900 does run Android perfectly well however - personally i'd say to the same standard. Bear in? mind that while android runs fine the latest version of Android i've tried does not yet support making or recieving phone calls, i understand it DOES allow SMS in the latest (gingerbread version) but i've not tested this as i just use my N900 as an android tablet on wifi!

N900's Multitasking is an effective Endtask function. N900 With the 'X App is not responding, do you want to terminate' 30 times a day , it's even better than all the HANGERS add up in my cupboard! And it's bot just multi touch. It's the specific sensitivity of it's screen. It's the undisputable best on the market, that can't be replicated yet. The iPhone browser is not great because of safari. But because of the patents that support the iPhones touch screen. The same US patents that prevent? droid phones from having multi-touch in the states, when the sane phones have it in Europe. No phone in the near future will be as perfect to the touch as the iPhone because everything that makes it so uniquely perferct, is patented. Plain and simple. you can use both wifi and your cellular (over bluetooth) connection. The N800 does not have GPS inside, you need to bring your own. I use the LD-3W though there is a 4W now. This is more for tracking than navigation. There's a different navkit you can use for driving directions ... this is free though?

Holy crap 4 ways to unlock and you actually make it sound like a bad thing... well here goes: power button: You just want to see clock and if you have messages... and slider (option to start using device) Unlock button: quick way to open and start using device. Camera slider: eh... you want to use camera right away. Keyboard: Lets you use keyboard right away... If you then start? typing it opens your contacts according to what name you started typing.

N900 is awesome!! about the sending files through skype, the method shown was for sharing pictures etc through social networks like facebook twitter etc..? to send files through skype maybe it's when you have skype conversation with someone you can actually send the file through there. I am not sure about that, but for me sharing through social networks it's different if you want to send file through skype cos skype is not like facebook or flickr. hope I have explained myself :)

I think it's a realy handy? thing cuz you don't have the unlock the phone but can still see everything. I also found myself pressing the powerbutton on my (cough) N73 'bout 25 times a day wich is a lot more than how many times I unlock my phone.

Yeah, but what about the iphones numerous amounts of apps? and it is also a lot slimmer than the N900. I like both phones, the browser is very good on the nokia.. Still confused though..
